Gets the job done for small bulbs and corms.
So far, I've used this tool to plant ~50 small bulbs in moderately heavy clay soil. Toward the end of this job, the handle started to come loose (as other reviewers have noted). I easily finished the job without further loosening of the handle by pulling on the vertical (main part) of the tool to remove it from the soil. The main part of the tool is well-built and should last a reasonably long time.Modifying the tool to create a stronger attachment between the tool and the handle would likely be best. It seems that the handle is only glued to the tool. A quick modification would be to pre-drill a hole through the handle down into the long axis of the tool and sink a screw into this point of attachment.

3 years hard use!
I have a LARGE garden and this is the only tool I own. I plant hundreds of seeds and plants a year and this dinner has held up so well. 3 years heavy use. Highly recommend.

Quality Needs Work
The wood handle was fine and the stainless cone was fine but how they are joined needs better quality control during manufacturing. The cone portion was very loose fitting on the handle due to not being fully seated in place and the rivets not being tight. My concern was that water/dirt would easily get down into the cone leading to rotted wood and rust inside the cone. Not worth the hassle to send back so I repaired it myself and now it would be worth 5 stars. I removed the rivets and cone, then applied a good quality epoxy to the shaft and inside of the cone to secure and waterproof it. Then simply installed new rivets after the epoxy had cured. Perfect tool now and it's a shame I had to "fix" the quality control issue.

Sturdy easy to use dibbler
I didn’t even know what a dibbler was until a friend of mine told me I needed one to deep fertilize my hibiscus plants. It is easy to make a hole in the soil with this tool and drop fertilizer granules down to the root zone.It is sturdy and looks like it will last. A good addition to my potting shed.

This product digs deep!
Decided to plant a ton of bulbs for Spring—and my daughters and son-in-Law did all the planting pretty quickly with this great tool to help. It is very sturdy! Much better than standard bulb planters for breaking the earth deeply enough!

One Issue Easy to Correct
Like others, I found the handle lose and easily twisted off. A dab of Elmers Wood glue makes this the perfect tool. Take a hint and change out the rubber cement for a good, strong wood glue.

Handle came off as soon as I got it, a little sandpaper and some wood glue fixed that pretty quick. Welding on the seam wasn't perfect so there's a gap at the top of the metal cone where it wasn't welded together. Does the job okay, seemed to give me cleaner holes than the other one I used.

No ruler and not as sturdy as I expected
The metal spike at the end of the wood handle on mine is very wobbly, was not secured on tightly enough. I also was under the impression that it had a ruler engraved on the side so you know how deep you're planting your bulbs.

Fallen fruits dibber
No good at all. The handle came apart the first time I used it as it is not a single piece of wood. The supplier did however credit me immediately.

Poor Quality Control
When it arrived the metal piece on the point was loose. Very poor quality control. You have been warned

Außen hui...
The media could not be loaded. Keine Idee! 🤷♂️

Save your money
Attached is a picture of the stick I used to plant bulbs after the dibber broke. I planted 120 tulip bulbs with the stick and it's still going strong. The dibber broke after 2.Highly recommend a random stick over this product.
