Excellent quality and kitty gobbles it
My cat with chicken and grain allergies loves this kibble! We’ve used it for several months now. I actually had switched her to a chicken and grain-free diet two years ago, so she had already stopped regurgitating, BUT not only does she prefer this brand, a few months after switching to AvoDerm, her coat looks healthier and fluffier than I have ever seen it in her 16 years of life! Lately I’ve been noticing how incredibly SOFT she is when I pet her. She is not a fluffy cat! I would never have described her as “soft and fluffy”. So it has been very shocking and fantastic to see her roll around and there’s so much fluffy fur on her belly. I had to leave a review because the other brands are great too, but they didn’t make such a difference in her fur. I absolutely love this brand and am grateful for it. My cat looks healthier than ever at age 16! Worth every penny I pay.

One of the few cats dry food, Which my cat is not allergies.
The media could not be loaded. My cat has had sensitive digestion and allergies to food recently. This is related to his liver, so I needed a lighter food with less protein. My cat has been eating this food for more than a few weeks, and everything is fine.

Didn't like it
We provide dry food between a half can wet. One of our cats is allergic to chicken. So we are trying to transition them to one without that. But they protest if they don't get their beloved Fancy feast. Not my choice of a food for them, but once they eat it, it seems no other food can compete. There's some kind of secret enhancement added that they love. They LOVE the gravy in the canned. No other wet cat food has the smooth creamy texture. They tried this food, but wouldn't eat it again. Back to the drawing board.

Sensitive cat approved
I am so excited my kitty likes this food! I just got it and put it out for her and I didn't even have to mix it into her other food, she just started to eat it! Initially I just thought she was picky, but I think she has an allergy or sensitivity to fish. Unfortunately, every single dry cat food offered at our local, natural pet food store has salmon or herring oil in it even if it doesn't have any other fish products. So what I thought was my cat being picky could've just been her sensitivity to the fish oils (in every Nulo dry food). She was always itchy so I'm hoping this dry food helps! I'm going to ask the pet store to carry this. Really so glad to find a product that doesn't contain any fish. And the size of the disks are small like Nulo which is nice for my part munchin kitty's mouth. :)

Not necessarily a "sensitive cat" diet
My cat is absolutely allergic to anything fish; so I tried this as a fish-free diet. Did not work. The reaction was fast and substantial diarrhea. This is because Avocado is not always acceptable for cats. So, not to "dis" this product, but I suggest you try a small amount first just in case (I did) your cat can't tolerate avocado.

My Picky Corky Likes this Food
I slowly switched this Avoderm with Duck and Turkey meal to all my 3 cats. They seem to be doing well and I love how their fur is even shinier and softer now. They all like it, even Mr. Picky Corky likes it too which is a miracle! LOL.. I know they had issues in the past and I had to switch to other brands. Which is trial and tribulation with cats. Some cats can eat anything and be healthy, but all of mine have issues with skin and stomach sensitivity and hairballs. I like that there is no fish or chicken, only duck and turkey. I hope that their food continues being very fresh and high quality.

None of our cats would eat it, at all!! Even the feral cats!
Since we can't talk to our cats, we do not know why they won't eat this. However, it is extremely hard. For our house cat it was a no go for that alone, but she wouldn't even eat it when softened with a bit of hot water. Softened is a poor word for it, because it barely made it more maleable even for a cat without sensitive gums. Even moistened with their normal canned cat food, the feral cats turned away from it, opting to go hungry rather than indulge. We have several other "critters" who habituate our back yard, too, and consume the remains of left over cat dinners. NO possum, skunk, or crow would eat it. I don't know what you did, Avoderm, but we'll never purchase it again, nor recommend to our friends who have similar cat food needs!!

My cat loves it
My boy has allergies so we are eliminating chicken in his diet to see if that is the issue since chicken is a real allergy problem for both dogs and cats. The kibble is small and that's what they like and evidently the taste because the bowl empties fast.

They like it! Yay
My girls like it, however the price has quadrupled since I purchased it and will have to find another vendor moving forward!
