I have a small apartment, limited storage space, so I needed something that wouldnt take up a lot of room. This strainer is fantastic. I made spagetti a few nights ago and strainer held up to boiling noodles and water perfectly. Easy to clean, haven't tried the dishwasher yet (its a crappy apartment dishwasher so I probably won't try it). Definitely plan on getting another one that's a little bit bigger for bigger meals. Its big enough to cook noodles for 2-3 but if hosting a bigger crowd, bigger strainer is needed.

This is a great little strainer. It is small enough to store easily and great to take along camping. I like the smaller size for one or two portions of noodles or veggies. Cleans up nicely and works great.

This is a great item! My daughter likes macaroni or a noodle at least twice a week and this colander makes that task a lot easier.You can store it in a drawer and it’s super easy to clean.

I purchased this strainer for my daughter in college because she eats a lot of macaroni and Ramen noodles. She said the strainer works wonderfully and after cleaned it flattens down and is easy to store, which is great because her dorm room has limited amount of storage space. I plan to buy another one to keep at my house to use myself. I would highly recommend this product.

I have had this colander for 8 months and have been very pleased with it. It is easy to store because it collapses, easy to clean, and the size is just right. No signs of wear after 8 months of everyday use.

Yeah, I finally have a strainer that I can tuck away in one of the drawers in my kitchen island! It's not the biggest strainer that I have but it's the most convenient. I also order the 3-piece strainers but even the smallest won't fit in the island drawers...BUT, at least I can hang them up by their handles...so that's a plus!

I am very impressed by this medium-sized colander, which is just right for draining a two-quart pot of vegetables or pasta. The handle feels strong, and the material very sturdy even when boiling pots are poured into it. The folding feature is very useful for storage, although only time will tell if the silicone material fatigues at the places where it folds. The capacity and shape have kept me from accidentally dumping good food into the sink.

The item itself is great! Very well made, and works well. However the Amazon envelope it came in stunk of cigarette smoke! Clearly the delivery person is a heavy smoker in their car!!

I really like the shape of this strainer and the fact that it has a handle. It is a good medium size strainer that I would find many uses for in my kitchen. I was very happy when I fist saw it but then I realized that the bottom of the strainer is not silicone as I thought it was. It is made of a plastic (type not disclosed) and as per the description online it is only heat resistant up to 158º F/70ºC - which means that if you use it to strain cooked veggies or pasta or anything with boiling water (100C) it is a temperature above what the plastic is graded for and therefore it is likely oozing all sorts of toxicants onto your food. So sad as the shape is nice. I wish it was silicone all the way. I suppose you can use it exclusively for washing items in cold water (that is why I gave it 3 starts instead of one).
