The product itself is alright, the packaging(clamshell) is a little fragile.Socks are fine, some are definitely comfier than others. Some I am worried about tearing like the octo, cause they have little hairs that might get stuck on a toenail, but they wash well, which is nice

I got this gift for one of my friends who loves sushi and socks, she absolutely ADORED them! When I asked her how they felt she responded with, “oooooh soooo soft.” I would recommend these to anyone a million times over, they are simple wonderful!

These are so cute and make a nice gift. However be warned the quality of the socks are a little below average and the packing lends itself to damage. This ships in a plastic sleeve rather than a box so its up to fate whether its damaged or not.

Great comfortable socks. My only problem is that I'm a server and because of all the walking if I wear them it wears away at the heel a small bit.

I love this idea, but the quality of this product is terrible. These socks start at $15 for one pair or $48 for ten pairs. That's a lot more expensive than regular socks.The packaging is terrible. The box is a real food-safe takeout container, and if you've ever had takeout or restaurant leftovers in those clear plastic clamshell container, you know they are very fragile and crack/break when you open them. To make it worse, that box is considered the product box, so there's no extra protection. My shipping box had no damage, and there was packing paper inside, but the sushi box was still damaged. That means it was damaged when it was shipped out, but since the sushi box is considered the product box, the product isn't considered damaged. The lid is also taped on with sticky tape that leaves a big mess if you remove it.The socks aren't placed in the box nicely like the product picture. They're all just tossed in box with no order. Maybe someone vigorously shook the box and mixed everything up. However, there's about three times as much fake grass (just sitting on the top of the socks) as the product image, so a handful of grass was grabbed and thrown in.The socks themselves are really bad. They are made of t-shirt material, but thinner - pretty much just fabric. There's no cushioning except the cuff where it's folded over, but I wouldn't even count that as cushion. The patterned socks are textured inside but it varies depending on the pattern. The salmon has a lot of white lines close together, so there's a lot of fuzz inside the sock (fuzz, not cushion), the butterfish has less fuzz, and the tuna has the least. The octopus and tamago have hairs inside. The maki socks have nothing. The fuzz and hair looks comfortable, but they feel just like the maki socks when you put them on (like the textures aren't there). When I saw the fuzz inside the socks I thought, "they're not as thin as other reviewers make them out to be," but I immediately agreed with those reviews when I put the socks on. Don't use these socks, you'll tear a hole in them in a day. Some of these socks aren't even sown together properly - the heels don't align with the toes, so when you put them on, they're all twisted (only about half the socks).Each pair of socks is $5, but it's made out of $0.50 tshirt scraps. They're just for looks, but they don't even look good inside a beaten box. Honestly, this set of 10 pairs should cost no more than $10 (accessories and non-damaged box included).Also, don't try to wash these socks. They'll probably dissolve.

We have this as a gift and it was super cute and the receiver loved them! The chop sticks and the little bottle were a super cute touch.

I loved this idea - and it looked great (once I'd fixed the extremely flimsy box which had fallen apart in transit.). The socks were thin, stretchy, and icky-feeling. We are passing them on.

I bought these for my 5 year anniversary coming up with my boyfriend. He ABSOLUTELY looooves sushi, but is not a huge fan of gag gifts. These were perfect because although it was more of a gag gift, they are actually functional and are pretty good quality!!The more detailed socks (like salmon) have quite a few loose strings on the inside due to the design. So if that makes you uncomfortable keep that in mind. Other than that, I found absolutely no problems!!He was so excited to receive this gift.

My husband lOVES these socks. I purchased these for a Christmas present, and it really wow'ed him and all our friends.The quality of the socks so far have held up well. I would highly recommend purchasing this for a gift!!

Purchased for my husband they're pretty thin like dress socks. Not warm but comfortable.
