My Stove Fan MSF001 6-Blade Heat Powered Stove Fan, Black

I checked the reviews for similar products and they all had and pros and cons. I am really impressed with this stove fan especially as I've owned others in the past. It happily sits on my log burner and starts up not long after it is first lit. The fan is completely silent and it is definitely warmer in my front room since I started using it. The heat from the stove seems to be much better distributed.

Seems to do the job, not sure how long it’ll last as after a couple of weeks it’s starting to rattle a bit. Would have bought another but a £6 price increase in 2 weeks is just greed!

You don’t feel anything like a blast of heat but It does feel like the heat is getting around the room and the house better with this fan. Wouldn’t pay a lot of money for one but this wasn’t a lot of money so happy with the purchase.

Delivery quick, excellent stove fan, makes a big difference - the heat is distributed all around the room & around the house & upstairs. Really is worth the money, is silent & we don't notice it with it being all black. So glad I didn't buy one with silver blades. It works between the temperatures approx 180°- 300° - & stops otherwise. It sometimes needs you to give it a light nudge on the blade (in the right direction which is clockwise) after it has stopped which is normal, so it is really better to have a stove thermometer on your flu pipe to know what the temperature is. (They aren't expensive & magnetic so simple to attach). I just get my torch, look up the flu, read the temp' & if the stove is burning at the right temp' I give it a tiny tap (with my glove on ofcourse) & off she goes. Incidentally it's important to have a thermometer anyway as stoves can get too hot & have been known to glow red & go on fire & even explode. So all in all it's majic, we're glad we bought it & this brand & from this supplier. The price was good too, £30 odd is affordable & money well spent for the difference in heat reaching all around the rooms (you can't actually feel any air movement). Now when I'm sitting over at my window away from my fireplace, my feet & back of my neck, all of me, is toasty warm, no drafts. I suggest you buy this one & see what I mean.

I was a bit sceptical, but it worked exactly as described. Very silent and kept going long after the fire had finished.
