As with most houses, my front lawn slopes down in front. I built a raised bed, with sprinklers, to keep the lawn level, then added a few plants that blocked pop-up sprinklers. I originally used taller pop-ups but the plants blocked those. Now I use these tall units, with the brass sprinkler heads. to keep the rest of the raised bed watered. Although the city (and state) doesn't recognize it, this also eliminates their "required" non-pollution into the water systemMostly this allows all the plants to receive the water they need.

I bought two. I thought I had the extension nut tight enough. It shot the top part 15 feet in the air and created a water jet in my front yard. Pretty funny. Luckily I bought a second one. That one seems to be working ok. My concern is if that happens again and no one is home and out of state. That water bill is going to be bad.

These risers are a super fast fix that lasts for a long time. I like the variable height arrangement that allows them to go just about everywhere.

It is well made and does what it is supposed to.

I installed these in my center garden so that I could irrigate over taller hedges and into obstructed gardens. Inexpensive fix compared to re-routing old irrigation lines. Love them.

Overpriced for what it is but Fairly constructed

Does the job well but have to dock it two stars for 1) Stem is very wobbly and top heavy, so tends to lean. 2) Stem base snapped off the first one when I was trying to straighten the “lean”.Pros: The ability to extend it is great and the green color blends in nicely in a garden. Does spray well

These are great. You can raise them from 26 - 48 inches high, and be sure to check which raidus spray you order, some are versions are 8 - 12 feet and you can also get these in 10 - 15 foot radius spray. I am using them in several way. I have cana's and small bushes in some landscape areas, and I have a wild flower garden so I decided to try these. I know they will work better than the in-ground popups.
