Heavy enough to feel much more expensive

I could not be any happier with these envelopes. I love these! I perform magic and bought these because I was having a hard time finding this size envelope, (into which I can easily store a playing card or three, while still having enough room to reach in and pull them out), in my local office supply stores. Decided to go with the black envelopes. Glad I did. These feel great and work perfectly for what I needed. And I think the black gives them a less "utilitarian" look and adds some class. Just so you know, these seal with no moisture (licking) required. Just peel the adhesive cover and seal. I have not tested how well the seal holds, though, as I need them to remain unsealed for my purposes.

I received only 49 envelopes total. One of them is defective. It's totally asymmetrical and glued closed. So I basically received only 48 usable envelopes. Shipping was EXTREMELY SLOW, as well.

Great quality envelopes.
