Artka Women's Hooded Wool Blend Cape Coat with Vintage Embroidery

First off this cloak fits above my need i am 5'11 so it does not look the same as in the picture, but i still love it! It is well made and the hood can be adjusted. as the reviews say it is a large but that gives me more room when i wear my hair up! It is very roomy and warm. color is as pictured.The only problem i found is it is very itchy need to use (Glycerin) I top grade at a cheaper price. [...](I recommend not using white vinegar for softening it can take the color out)! I had to send this back it was way too short.

Pros:The wool blend is thicker than I thought it would be which is perfect for my cold nature and makes this by far the warmest outerwear I've owned.The embroidery is awesome and the liner is really comfortable.With this thing I don't even have to dress up for D&D.Whenever my arms get cold I just pull them back into where everything is warm and wonderful.I finally found something to keep the rain, sleet and snow off my glasses because the hood is huge.Cons:The hood is so big in fact, that it reminds me of Dark Helmet. Though not necessarily a draw back.In conclusion, I love this thing.

This is a gorgeous cape! Beautiful color, I love the over-sized hood, the little embroidery details, the cute little key-danglies. This cape fit me as expected though it seems a little shorter on me length-wise than in the picture. I am 5ft 8 and weigh about 145, C-Cup. The ONLY reason I gave this cape 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not sure if this is made of real wool... It may be that it's just newer than the wool coats I already own, but it feels synthetic to me. I may be wrong about that, though. It's not quite as heavy as I expected, but its got good weight to it. Also...I know there are no there are pockets in the photos, but for some reason I was expecting this to have pockets! Either externally or inside the cape. I keep reaching for them on the outside and they just aren't there. It'd be nice to be able to carry things in there, as it is difficult to wear a shoulder bag over this. I guess I can sew some in there, though. ^_^ I'm going to Iceland in January and I don't think this will be quite heavy enough, but for a normal winter season it will work out beautifully. I've already gotten several compliments on it!

WOW!!! The picture does not do this cape justice. The green color is a bit more faded than the online image, which contrasts the brown embroidery well. The size is wonderful as well. I am large breasted and the cape closes without bulging. The weight of the cape makes it warm for winter weather. Since I am in a northern state, we get temps below freezing and with a bulky sweater underneath, it will keep me pleasantly comfortable. I am very pleased with the quality and size of this cape. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a heavy winter cape.

I waited about 3 months for the grey to be in stock, and the week after I gave up and just ordered the green the grey is in stock again. Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for this, cause I am actually mad about it.

It's a heavy wool and nicely lined. Good tailoring on the stitching and lining. The embroidery is more of an applique, even though it is prettily done. My major complaint is that the hood is just weird. No wonder there are no pictures of with the hood up. There's just too much fabric, how it joins to the collar is funny as there is too much going on, and the back of the hood is this strange almost circular shape. Honestly you could fit two heads in here and it's not a pretty shape. I am tempted to pull it all apart and reshape the hood. I had already planned to line it in thinsulate.

The pictures of this cape do not do it justice. The embroidered details are amazing and the colors [purchased olive green and brown] are very complimentary to each other. Length is perfect for our harsh winter temperatures. Getting a tremendous amount of compliments on it. Artka went through great efforts to keep me informed of the progress of the order and went to extra lengths to make sure I was pleased with their Cape. It arrived in a decorative bag tucked securely in a decorative box. I will continue to purchase from this company.
