These warmers are an excellent addition to my cold weather gear
These warmers are an excellent addition to my cold weather gear. They make a good barrier to the ventilation built into my biking shoes and help keep my toes warm. They are an excellent complement to the Pearl Izumi Elite Barrier Mtb Shoe Covers. The construction is solid. They are comfortable to wear if you have some wiggle room in your biking shoes. If your shoes are already tight in the toe box while wearing thin socks, this product will likely be uncomfortable. I have room in my shoes for these warmers and thick socks but the fit is tight around my toes and the net effect is cramped but not warm toes. They are more effective when I wear them with thinner socks that allow better circulation around the toes. They are most effective when I wear thinner wool socks and use shoe covers over my biking shoes.

they run a little large, but cozy warm
Warm, they do not stay on my toes though.

Not warm enough for bike commute of 1 hr under 50 degrees or less
Not warm enough for bike commute of 1 hr under 50 degrees or less. Toes get humid after a while. Better to use external shoe cover.

Bought these for winter riding. Works well so far.
I bought these for winter riding in Minnesota. I always have troubles keeping my toes warm and don't want to use disposable toe warmers all the time. These have so far worked out well for my expectations. They are thin enough not to make things cramped inside my shoes. Only a few mm's thick. So far they've kept my toes warm enough during below freezing temps. I havent tested them in below zero degree (F) weather yet.

Doesn't work
I thought this would keep my toes warm. It felt like I was wearing rubber. Not comfortable at all and it didn't keep my toes warm at the slightest. I'm better off putting on an extra pair of socks. A complete waste of ten dollars

Rode yesterday on a cloudy 38 degree day and my toes felt fine. Not toasty warm
Bought these because when the temps drop, my feet would get cold. Rode yesterday on a cloudy 38 degree day and my toes felt fine. Not toasty warm, but comfortable enough for a longer ride without frostbiteUpdated - rode 32 miles with an outside temp of 26. Did it feel like I had my feet up in front of a toasty fire? No. But my toes were cool, but comfortable for most of the ride. They did start to feel a little cold after about 30 miles, but nothing unbearable. I just know that without them, I would have been freezing after 5 miles. So all in all - it's a great product.

Three Stars
provide some warmth/protection - better than just socks not as good as warmer pads

good wind stopper
my toes were on the verge of frost bite at the ends of my commutes to work, no matter how much i tried to double up on socks. i finally discovered that ambient temp. didnt have all that much to do with it, it was the wind biting right through my shoes. this did the job great, just one pair of nice socks, and these over my toes kept the feeling in them my whole ride. i still felt the winter air, but i didnt feel like i had to check for frost bite when i finished my ride. just an fyi avg temps are low 30's, upper 20's, and about a 13+ mile trip each way.
