It’s a movie what can I say DVD wasn’t broke and I love the show so you know

Season 3 was just coming on tv and I had always heard how good season 1 and 2 were but had never watched the show. Finally with season 3 taping, I ordered season 1 and 2 to watch to 'catch up'. This is a show about FAMILY. How just one small act can end up changing someones life for good (or bad), or how the same thing can happen to several people but they may all remember it differently. The show is about the past, present and future and very interesting to watch. Glad I finally got on board with "This is Us'. Bonus on the Dvd's is extra material and inside talks with the actors.

For those of you who have watched the series, what happens this season is not a shock, but when watching this with my daughter, FOR THE FIRST TIME, imagine our shock when they give the big reveal is given away in the opening moments of Disk 1 before you can even select an episode. Whoever put this disk together needs to learn how to edit material.

Favorite show

While there are moments when the scripts seem to regress to melodrama, and a few moments that seem more manipulative than truly emotional, overall this is a very well scripted, well acted, and well directed series. The cast is strong, and they know their characters well. It's nice to see a show where people can argue and bicker with each other, but then realize, "Wait, I love that person!"--and actually go and apologize. This series is well worth watching.

I have been watching this series on TV since it started (looking forward to each week for the next episode). Kept bugging my sister to watch. Now season 1 & 2 are no longer available on On Demand. Purchased the first 2 seasons so she could catch up, and she also LOVES the characters, story, and message in this show! (This is a regular family with real problems, but love and support each other through life.)

Up until the last fifteen minutes of the last episode, this show had me crying, cheering, and thinking it was better than the first season. Then in the last fifteen minutes it was like the writers got replaced by martians. I am not sure I will watch season three but I enjoyed this until it took a turn that just did not make any sense at all!

La segunda temporada de This is US, continua por mostrarnos algunas de las historias pendientes de la primera temporada, sobre todo la historia de Jack Pearson. Una de las mejores series de todos los tiempos.
