"Titanic" and Her Sisters "Olympic" and "Britannic"

"Titanic" book, very recommended.
I am writing my review after having carefully read the previous four: I am the last in order of time, to have acquired this impressive volume, and I agree fully with everything that has been said previously: despite some mistakes, is a well-structured collection of pictures and news, unique in its kind, as it collects the information of all three "sisters", giving the reader the ability to make comparisons and considerations on the fate of each, without having to consult other books. It can be a must for anyone interested in the subject, or a base from which to start a library on the Titanic. The book is remarkable in any size and weight, so it is not a reading to take with you :-)Although not native speakers of English, I found the reading easy and smooth, an important finding for foreign readers.

A big book about a big ship!
Saw this book for sale in a second-hand shop and nearly bought it - but it's a big, heavy book and I passed on it as I didn't want to carry it round with me for the rest of the day. Immediately regretted the decision but too late to go back. So I was delighted when I saw it as available on Amazon - and a bit cheaper than the one I'd seen in the shop, even after p&p. A great book, well illustrated and full of information.

Titanic, Olympic and Brittanic
Purchased as a gift and whilst a used copy it was in very good condition. As for content, the recipient was delighted with it and found it very interesting and informative. He hadn't been aware that Titanic was one of three identical ships or that both that ship and the Brittanic ended their days on the ocean floor. He is also eager to visit the WhIte Swan in Alnwick to see the salvaged wood panelling from the decommissioned Olympic.

Yes, the films made and books written about the ...
Yes, the films made and books written about the almost cursed Titanic-class ships built in the enormous Belfast shipyards at the turn of the century are legion, to be sure. But if you have an interest in these ships, this is, without a doubt, the publication to purchase and cherish in your home library. Infinitesimally-researched and illustrated with tons of breathtaking photos and sketches, the book itself would take someone many hours to ingest. Indeed, this is not one of those books described as "Page Turners". You must have this book on the table and consult it a page or two at a time. And it tempts the owner/reader to delve into its many many pages and photos at random. This publication is not a purchase, but rather an investment. An incredible endeavor. My hats off to the three creators of this volume, McCluskie, Sharpe, and Marriott.

Had what I needed.
I bought this book for one photograph that was in it, but was very pleased with the price and the speediness of the delivery. It is a worthy addition to my collection of books on the Titanic, but what made it especially valuable for me, were the pictures of the crew of the Carpathia.

What a bargain!
This large and very impressive book is out-of-print and is in quite good condition. All for $7. Great photos and a very interesting text on the Titanic and her two sister ships. My nephew will love this.
