Works better than the original Black and Decker charger!
I bought this because I needed a second charger for my two B&D batteries. This charger is 4x faster than the B&D charger and is easier to use. The base is stable, easy slide in and well marked with charging indicators. Love this purchase. Great value.

not to be used for lithium
I purchased this charger for my new 18v lithium replacement battery, but it states in the manual that it is only to be used with Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd. The charger itself even has LITHIUM printed on it and was recommended to be used with Lithium-ion by amazon but documents sent with battery say no.
