Elefun Motorised Butterfly Catching Game

Amazing fun game, different then other boring board games I've played

This is a nice, fun game for kids. My 3 and a half year old daughter got it for Christmas and she absolutely adores it. However, it's worth investing in some powerful, rechargable C type batteries. I got some 6000mAh and now we have no problem with stuck butterflies!The main criticism would be the same as others have noted; there just aren't enough butterflies actually included with the game which means that all the butterflies are gone far too quickly. We've resorted to making our own additional butterflies for the game!!Overall, lovely game but needs more butterflies and will require some powerful (preferably rechargable) batteries to get the best from it.Requires 4 C batteries and a small head philips screwdriver to open the battery cover.

3 year old and 5 year old loved this game and it is very simple to set up and easy to play. Sent quickly by supplier.

I bought this toy for my son for his 4th birthday and after seeing it advertised on tv he was very much looking forward to playing with it. What a disappointment for him though when it was set up and was not what he expected. On the tv advert, it looks like the butterflies fly out of the elephants trunk in a constant, fairly high powered way. It is not like this in real life - either that or the one we had was out of puff!The butterflies trundle out slowly, thats if they come out at all. I had looked at cheaper copies of this game but decided to buy the official elefun for 2 reaons. One it was what my son expected, two I thought I would get value for money.In my opinion, save your money and buy a cheaper alternative. Or just through a bunch of plastic butterflies in the air and get your kids to catch them cos that's way more fun and effective than this game.

A great little game which gives manic fun. You just start her up and the butterfiles get blown in the air by the elephant for you to catch. Just make sure you have good battereis - tried it with some cheap batteries and it the elephant didn't have enough "puff". Changed them for duracel and away she blew!

Das Spiel läßt die Jüngsten gerne wild mit Käschern, die in die Luft gepusteten Schmetterlinge, herumfuchteln und fangen. EIn Bewegungsspiel, dass auch gerne an verregneten Tagen benutzt werden kann, damit sich die Jüngsten auch in der Wohnung "kontrolliert" austoben können. Das Spiel hat ein gute Qualität und funktioniert noch heute absolut bestens !

Ce jouet est très amusant.Mes enfants de deux ans et demi et quatre ans aiment beaucoup y jouer.Les parties sont assez courtes mais suffisent pour les petits.Je confirme le fait que le nombre de papillons fournis est limité. J'ai contacté le constructeur par mail sur son site (Hasbro) qui m'a envoyé gratuitement un second sachet de papillons.Un conseil : il vaut mieux éviter de mettre deux paquets de paillons dans l'Elefun car cela produit un "embouteillage" et les papillons ne sortent pas bien. Un paquet et demi est la bonne quantité pour que chaque partie soit assez longue et que tout fonctionne bien.

Mein Sohn (2 1/4 J.) hat sehr viel Spaß mit dem Spiel. Das Spiel ist einfach und schnell aufzubauen und läßt sich auch von einem 2jährigen problemlos einschalten. Sofern der Rüssel des Elefanten von Hand aufgestellt wird, haben auch einfache Batterien (4 Stück für 4€) keine Probleme damit, die Schmetterlinge aus dem Elefanten zu befördern.Diese sollten ordentlich glatt gestrichen sein, damit sie gut fliegen. Die Schmetterlinge bestehen aus einer dünnen Kunststoff-Folie. Bei uns dauert es allerdings höchstens eine Minute, bis alle Schmetterlinge aus dem Elefanten geblasen wurden.Mein Sohn hat aber nicht nur Spaß daran, wie die Schmetterlinge aus dem Elefanten fliegen, er sammelt sie auch mit Freuden auf, um sie zuerst in sein Netz und anschließend wieder in den Elefanten zu sortieren. So gehört das alles mit zum Spiel.Ich würde das Spiel auf alle Fälle nur für jüngere Kinder empfehlen, die sich sowieso noch nicht lange auf eine Sache konzentrieren können. Älteren Kindern dürfte das Spiel vermutlich schnell langweilig werden.
