Crazy Fresh Whole Bean Coffee, Guatemalan Coban Estate Medium Dark Roast, 2 lbs, Perfecting Coffee Since 1911, Whole Beans Roasted in Small Batches, Delivered Fresh

This one was a tough call for me...I was very excited when I opened this bag of coffee. Every other company out there claims to sell fresh coffee, but when you open it you find moldy (and stale at times) coffee, but.... Not this time, this coffee is pristinely clean and beautiful, this is only the second time of all the beans I've bought anywhere that I find coffee this clean.If I had a complaint, it would be that the roast is NOT medium/dark, it's plain dark, which is fine, but it should be sold as such and not Medium/Dark.As for the flavor, with the disclaimer that taste is very subjective, I didn't like the taste of this one much (hence the 4 stars). Don't get me wrong, it's good coffee, but not one that I'd order again, although I'll certainly try every other type of coffee this company sells because you can see the quality in what you get when you open that bag of coffee, so I'm hopeful I'll find one I like, taste wise, from them.

I've just ordered my 8th bag of this coffee (11th order from this company). I can't say I've found anything better. I drink French press and grind my beans each morning if this helps.I've bought fresh roasted beans from local (to me) roasters. I've bought beans from the top 100 best sellers here on Amazon. I've even bought green beans and roasted my own. Time and again, I keep coming back to Crazy Fresh because I haven't once found a better tasting coffee with such a consistent roast and flavor profile. Even though it takes me about 6 - 7 weeks/bag, I've found that my last cup tastes as good as my first. I can't heap enough praise on this coffee.

Coffee appeared fresh when it arrived with plenty of oil on the beans. Coffee is very smooth and not acidic/better. You don't have a nasty taste in your mouth after you are done drinking it. Not a ton of flavor though. Have to use a little extra coffee than normal but all in all, pretty good.

Absolutely our favorite coffee!!! TONS of flavor! Give as gifts also to other coffee lovers. Would prefer to see it as a non- gmo certified organic product ( that will be the only thing preventing us from buying in the future- otherwise you would have a life customer)

I always get a very good use-by date. I have tried many brands of coffee, and I absolutely love this blend! Fast shipping and great customer service make for an even better experience.

This coffee rocks with the best bang for the buck (high-quality for a low-moderate price) than any coffee that I've ever had.Delicious sweet aroma, Balanced and complex sweet flavors of nuts and chocolate with mild acidity, medium-full body, creamy mouth feel, and a long aftertaste.Hope they never stop making it!

The best coffee ever. I grind the beans with a Breville Smart Grinder and Brew it with a Technivorm MocaMaster... Produces the best coffee on the planet...

The beans are black and completely covered in oil - definitely dark roast well beyond medium dark - I would rate as French roast, knowing such terms are not consistent. Finding a true "full city" or "medium dark" roasted coffee seems to be difficult. It was drinkable to me and would probably be good to a French roast drinker. One star because no return policy, even when not what was advertised. Had to throw $22 in the trash.
