Poor quality
Very poor phone: The ringer is so loud you jump every time it rings and there is no volume control.

The small size is a wonderful joy but the volume is not loud enough
I gave the $16.95 AT&T TRIMLINE 210 Corded Home Phone (beige or pink color) 4 stars because it was louder than all other home corded landline phones but still not loud enough for many, many people.I gave the $37.95 Clarity Amplified Trimline Telephone C200 only 1 star (I called it fraudulent) because despite its claim of being much louder, it was less loud than the $16.95 AT&T TRIMLINE 210. Also, the Clarity Amplified phone was tedious to use (the volume wheel had to be rechecked frequently to be set at maximum and the Volume Boost button had to be re-pressed during each new phone call). Also, the price of the $37.95 Clarity Amplified phone was ridiculously high.I gave this product, the $19.99 KerLiTar K-037 Slim-line Corded Hotel Phone only 2 stars because although its very small size and slim design was a wonderful joy, the volume was, if anything, even lower (worse) than the Clarity Amplified phone.CONCLUSION: The 16.95 AT&T TRIMLINE 210 Corded Home Phone (beige or pink color) was the loudest of the home corded landline phones but still not loud enough. For people requiring even higher volume loudness, use a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone such as magicJack and connect it to your laptop computer. Your laptop computer's speakers will be MUCH louder than the $16.95 AT&T TRIMLINE phone.Disadvantages of magicJack: (1)it costs $33 per year; (2)each time you restart your computer, the magicJack program needs to be doubleclicked (activated) and this activation is very difficult for most people because something inside the Windows Operating System keeps trying to block the magicJack activation process; (3)if the microphone of your laptop is used (instead of the microphone of your corded phone that is connected to your laptop) to talk to the other, faraway person, then your room needs to be very quiet because your laptop's microphone will pick up and greatly amplify the slightest noise inside your room.

Three Stars
It works, but very lightweight and no features.

I will not mound on a standard US wall phone plate
1) The distance between the mounting screws IS set to the distance of a US wall box, but will NOT fit the spacing between the stud-bolts of a typical US wall phone plate. 2) The cord jack that goes into the phone is nearly flush with the back of the phone, and as US style jacks protrude from the wall the phone will not mount flush to the wall. You can discard the plate but then must be able to crimp an RJ-11 jack onto your wire. 3) The phone is negligibly wider and a US electrical box, so drywall and rough cutting around the box will be visible. In short, while this is a nice, inconspicuous, lightweight, unobtrusive phone it is not really intended for US wall mounting. You will need to fiddle with it more than a little bit. Also, the cord that comes with it is probably not long enough to make it to a nearby telephone jack.

Terrible ring tone
Hated the sound made when it rang.

Ringtone is horrifying
The ringtone is a deafening ringing that sounds more like a fire alarm than a phone ringing. Its scares my pets and family so often that we just have to leave the phone off of the hook now.
