I had hunted far and wide for a good monk strap shoe - something a little bit of flair that isn't all that popular here in Australia.Finally found them on Amazon and I've been wearing them for about 10 months now with no issues to report. They require little buffing and stay shiny despite a bit of rough treatment.

The shoes came with some creasing already. None of the paper stuffing, that you get with new shoes,was in the right shoe or in the box which was the more creased shoe. I would say these were used or tried on a few times at least. Price was good and they looked even better in person. The shoes appear lighter than the picture, more in line with what I see as cognac in stores. The shoes could use better arch support but that could just be my odd feet. I do wear dress shoes all day but these literally broke me. I had issues walking for 2 days after. I didn't break them in as I didn't have time prior so perhaps my own fault. I was part of a wedding party and did about 1.5-2 times the steps a normal person might do at a wedding. Still consider breaking in and some kind of cushioned insoles for these.
