Works well for me and my water pressure.
Sprinkler works well for me with no tipping. I am usually able to press the spikes into the ground but if it's too hard, I run the water on the ground at the feet for a minute and can then push spikes down. Goes a great distance, much farther than my adjustable Gilmour impulse sprinkler. The head of the sprinkler feels of good quality but the tripod is very light weight aluminum. I'm sure the legs would bend if not handled with care. The worst of the quality lies at the plastic hood that the legs attach to. The legs are attached to this plastic with small rivets. There is absolutely no resistance when folding the tripod legs in or out. When holding the sprinkler up in the air, the legs literally freely swing in and out and feel like they're about to fall off. The other issue for me is that most of the water is delivered both close to the sprinkler and at the far end of the stream. There is a band in the middle that gets very little water. I may be able to resolve this or at least minimize it with the screw that screws in toward the stream to make stream "break up" more. I don't know what my water pressure is, but it drives the sprinkler head very well. When set to a limited travel, the head goes fast in one direction and when it hits the trigger to return it, the head travels much more slowly. I like this because it allows more water to be delivered at a time. Kind of hard to explain. I bought it as an open box buy at a discount and would buy it again at this discount but I don't think I'd pay full price for it.

It works, but....
I read reviews about this before I bought it so I was ready for what I got. The bottom line is it works. If you need to water large areas then get one. I have about 6 acres of pasture that just about died in the drought. I am reseeding this fall and using the sprinkler when it does not rain. Yes, the base is somewhat flimsy, yes the pipe where the hose connects has a plastic fitting, and yes, it would be better if the pipe was straight, but it works and it works well. I seeded and watered about an acre so far and the pasture mix is now 2 inches tall. Just be careful with it when you move it, understand that is not the most durable product you will ever buy it is will service your needs. One more thing, i read where it fell over, unless you have 150psi there is no way it will fall over if you set up level. Also, as with any sprinkler, wind plays a major role in distance. I attached mine to 2 50 feet never kink 3/4 inch hoses and had plenty of power. Hose diameter is critical to get the pressure, this sprinkler is big and needs a lot of water to make it work. It puts out a ton of water reducing watering time in each area (60-75 foot circle). All in all a great product for a specific need.

I Love It
The adjustment feature is great for corners (90 degrees) and property lines (180 degrees), or just to avoid getting something (a tent) wet (3/4 circle). Do pay attention to the other reviewers' advise about having sufficient water pressure. If you need to connect 2 hoses to reach an area, both of those hoses need to be 3/4 inch diameter to prevent an excessive loss of pressure. Most stores don't even carry hoses over 5/8 inch. If you need more than one hose, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get their "contractor grade" 3/4" hoses, but their recycled plastic hoses contain lead and they are not for sale in California. We found lead-free 3/4" hoses (made in the USA!) on Amazon and have been very satisfied with their quality. They are advertised as "non-kink", which isn't true--and the customer ratings reflect that. But no hose is really kink-free! These hoses have been very durable and have lasted for over 3 years--so far.Oh, I almost forgot. Those 3/4" hoses are very heavy, very inflexible and are too much weight and for the aluminum/plastic nipple that hangs from the tripod. Make yourself a 6-10 foot connector of light 5/8" hose, using a hose-repair kit, and be sure to put a quick-disconnect on the end of the nipple, or the short connector hose. The tripod nipple has a plastic female screw-on connector that I consider to be its "weak link". Permanently adding a quick-disconnect (regardless of hose size) will, I think, increase the lifetime of the sprinkler. And at its price, that's very important.

Good coverage, cheap quality.
This sprinkler is the only one I could find with the extra large coverage, but it will only spray as far as they claim it will if you have a lot of water pressure, so don't expect this to perform miracles with standard tap pressure. I have this sprinkler in the center of my backyard and it covers about a 45' radius. I was really hoping for a full 50', but it is probably my water pressure that is at fault. As far as the quality of the sprinkler, it is made out of mostly metal parts, but there are too many joints and the whole thing leaks from like 5 different places, it is not a terrible leak, but every bit of lost pressure reduces my total coverage. I felt like it should be more sturdy for the price. after hooking it up for the first time, the water blew the sprinkler head right off of the tripod. I had to reattach it with some gaskets so that it would seal better. I would have given this 5 stars if it was between $30 and $50, but at $80-$120, I expect it to be much more sturdy.

This is a great product!
This is a great product!! We live near Smokey Mtns. and my wife made me buy this after the fires in nearby Gatlinburg. It seems my Bride of 20 years is a pretty smart cookie, and comes from pretty sturdy stock in the forest fire-prone Pacific Northwest. Her family lived in the country, father was a select cut logging professional, and fire prevention was a really big deal. They would build cradles for sprinklers very similar to this, mount them on their roofs (a lot of people had cedar shake roofs), and attach a "drop hose" that simply remained attached at all times. In the event of a forest fire, you just hooked up your garden hose between the faucet and the drop hose, and it would prevent fire from having your home for fuel!! We bought this, and it works wonderfully, and if it had a 4th leg, it would be perfect for both purposes. The public needs to learn from my wife's brilliance and experience! This is heavy duty, strong and sturdy, and we have had no problem at all. Works like a pro!

Good sprinkler for large areas
Good sprinkler. Requires as much pressure as possible, over 40psi since it has a larger orifice for delivering larger amounts of water over longer distances than most sprinklers. Plastic cap where the three legs are attached looks weak and vulnerable. Easy to adjust and regulate...instructions not included and are not needed if one has ever used a pulsating sprinkler before.

Good idea, cheap parts.
For a pro product, it is cheaply made. The legs ar sturdy enough but the spray head is almost all cheap plastic. I don't anticipate this thing to last long. It also requires a lot of pressure to run and it wastes a lot of water at the base. This product is too expensive.
