Works great on our cushings horse who has thick coat. Our other clippers would clog, get hot too fast and hardly get through her coat even with new blades. We gave these a shot and I didn’t have high hopes because of the low price but boy are they worth it! They clipped her whole body like butter. Smooth and they cut the hair great. Only down fall is that they are very loud and for some reason, they blow hair all over you badly but still worth it. Did entire body clip in less than an hour. They are heavy too but still worth it since it gets the job done as stated.

I bought these after the motor burned out in my Oster Clipmasters. I wasn’t expecting to be wowed because of the cheap price (mine were only $85 because they were used and returned dirty.. but it’s not like I wasn’t going to get them dirty!). If I recall correctly, I bought the Clipmasters for around $300 ages ago. These things are BEASTY. Yes, they are heavier. However, they are totally worth the weight when you see that they clip like butter and you can go *fast*.I just gave my super filthy, hairy mare a modified trace clip, and despite her dancing around and having limited light, they did a really good job. No lines, no stray tufts, a good even clip.They definitely did heat up in the 4-5 speed range like I’d expect any set of clippers to do, but I didn’t have any qwik kool blade spray on hand to fix the issue. Several breaks to cool off were necessary. I’m definitely going to pick up a can of kwik kool for the next clip, and may mess with the tension settings a bit too.5/5 would recommend for body clipping horses. Would probably not use them on dogs or anything smaller than sheep size because they are large clippers with a wide head. They’d be difficult to maneuver around tight/narrow spots.

The media could not be loaded. Thrilled with these clippers. Used Oster clipmasters for years. But after the 3rd $300 to 400$ pair I’ve bought kept breaking, burning out, switch issues etc after only 8 to 12 animals, I figured if I’m gonna buy cheap Chinese parts I’m just going to buy a cheap priced body clipper. I am so pleasantly surprised with these. They’re just as powerful as the Oster clipmasters if not more so. They are noisy but less so than the Oster. Powerful clippers are noisy and get the job done. I want a mini donkey or mini horse doe in 10 minutes or less. They’re Maybe 30 percent less noise. My ears don’t ring afterwards like they do with Oster. These are FAR better balanced instead of being back heavy. No arm fatigue even after 2 donkeys. They don’t get as hot as the Osters did, even after doing 2 donkey bodies of thick winter fur, I could still clip their faces without burning them ( the Oster would burn them). The blade teeth are also tighter on this clipper. Making for less lines and a smoother cut. They glide through the thick fur. ( donkeys were bathed prior to clipping with blue dawn curried into lift grime). I only lube with dollar store baby oil. Clippers arrived with an empty bottle to hold oil. Started right out of box with no adjustments needed. The rubber handle is comfortable to hold and cuts down on vibration and arm/ hand fatigue and also insulated it better with heat. Overall thrilled with these. I ordered extra blades with them. I’ll update over time if anything changes.

I have a pony with cushings and needed a new set of clippers, but didn’t want to spend a fortune because he’s 31yrs old. These clippers did a fantastic job on him. The only reason I took a star off is because they do get pretty hot pretty quick, but that could be easily fixed with cooling spray. They are also a little loud, but he got used to them quickly. I was skeptical because of the price, but they did exactly what I needed them to do!

Terirble quality. It died after one hour of use. Do not buy.

I definetely recommend these clippers! My pony has very severe cushinga and I was able to do a FULL BODY clip in less than 3 hours. I did have to stop every 5 minutes to allow it to cool, in addition to cooling spray for the blades.Please purchase cooling spray because without it, you’ll burn your animal but I seriously am so happy with this purchases

First I want to say I have been using oster brand horse clippers for years but the last two didn’t hold up long enough to pay for themselves. I used my horse clippers for horses and our dogs I changed blades for each. These had great reviews so I gave them a chance the only con so far is they are so big and heavy. They blade is almost twice as wide as my oster horse clippers. This is good on horses and bigger path for each cut but for my dogs like on legs and paws they are ridiculously large and hard to get the angles easily. When you turn them on the highest setting it sounds like a weedeater! Ok maybe I’m exaggerating but not by much they are loud and sound powerful. On low they are much quieter so That’s where they stay. I however can’t deduct a star because of this grip because after all they are horse clippers and for that they are great if you have the strength to hold them for that long. I will still have to buy another pair strictly for my dog which was nice to have both together. I will update if they don’t last or other issues arise. They include extra motor brushes which is nice because usually when the motor stops working on these things it’s the brushes which are easy to change but all but impossible to find replacements for many clippers. So for them to be included is a nice idea. They also include a EMPTY oil bottle. Would be great to have had oil but I suspect it had something to do with shipping them from overseas to the us is why they couldn’t include it. Only guessing but I can think of no other reason. Just know before ordering this thing is huge compared to most clippers I’ve seen horse or dog. long, wide and heavy which could be good or bad depending on what you need. Hope this helps.
