The George Foreman Indoor Outdoor Electric Grill is perfect for entertaining. Use the 240 square inch non-stick cooking surface to make a delicious family dinner, or move it outdoors for a classic backyard barbecue. The sloped grilling surface, variable temperature controls and easy cleanup make it that much simpler to create burgers, chicken, appetizers, desserts and so much more! Plus, it's fully electric, so you'll get high-quality grilling with no charcoal, no propane and no flare-ups.

If you have to go with an electric grill, this is the one!
It takes some getting used to if you have only had gas (natural or propane) or charcoal grills in the past. My condo only allows for electric grills and I put off getting one for over 4 years...and I wish I hadn't! After the initial adaption time, I LOVE this thing. It took me awhile to learn that things actually cook better without "pam" or spray oils. The non-stick surface will scratch, so be sure to use only wooden or plastic/rubber coated utensils. I'm not sure you could cook for 15 people as they advertise, but the grill is plenty large for a nice meal for 4-5. The highest temp setting (5) is very hot, so take the time to learn what works best for you. Cleaning is my only issue, especially if you are cooking anything that has been marinaded. It's not that hard...it's just not super easy like using a wire brush or heating with a layer of tinfoil as you do on a more traditional grill. Light residue wipes off easily with a paper towel but it is kinda messy. If you have used it more than once without cleaning, I find that it is just best to bring it inside and wash it in the sink (it comes off of its stand really easily with just one clip). You DO have to be sure to wash out the drip pan almost every time you use it. They say the drip pan is dishwasher safe, but it is easy enough to just hand wash so I've never put mine in a dishwasher. There is a center area, supposedly for drippings to run towards the drip pan, that really doesn't cook food very well - so just avoid putting food on that thin center strip. I've cooked some excellent chicken, steaks, salmon (skin down, and it turns out awesome), and TONS of veggies and potatoes - in the short 2 months or so that I've owned mine. I even made corn on the cob, in the husk, on it this past week and it was perfect. If you are making a full meal for several people, I do recommend cooking the veggies, etc. first, and then cooking your meat separately. Veggies for 4 will fill up the whole grill until they cook down/shrink - and they take considerably longer to cook. Still, I really do love my grill and am thrilled that I finally got one! ENJOY!

Suppers done in no time at all!!!
Had one similar and forgot how convenient they were! Amazed at how quickly our steaks were done to perfection. Would definitely recommend, especially where gas and charcoal grills are not allowed.

Easy to use, easy to clean, super convenient, great temps
I had the old version of this 14 years ago. My fiancé was doubtful, but after using three times (every day since it got here) he LOVES it. Wish it still came in red, but who cares? I love the flexibility to use indoors or outdoors, and never used my old one inside. Much less smoky than cooking steaks in the stove/oven!

Has some design flaws
It's cheap and there's a reason for that. Overall the George Forman 240" indoor / outdoor grill does what it says it will do. It is great for an apartment porch or patio where gas and charcol are not options. However, it is poorly designed / constructed. 1) There is no place to hang the hot grill lid if you are turning, adding or removing food to the grill surface, 2) it is flimsy and wobbly and tips over easily, 3) the rheostat for controlling the grill temperature is very small and has no ridges, so it is hard to get a grip to adjust it, especially if it has gotten a little greasy during the cooking process, 4) the way the rheostat is designed it is confusing when you are first using it until you figure out that the big arrow pointing at the numbers on the rheostat is not the mark you want to use to gauge the heat selection. We'll see how long this lasts, but if I need to buy a new grill in the next couple of years I'll probably opt for a sturdier one.
