These are nice but WILL fade
I do like these raised emblems. One thing you have to expect is the red WILL fade due to exposure to the sun. The clear coat did start flaking off on one of the letters but if you are handy with a razor blade you can cut the remaining clear flakes off and use nail polish clear and coat it again OR you can just use a drop or 2 of activated Nason clear coat if available

So - I'm glad I picked them up
Only thing preventing a full 5-star rating is that 1) these letters aren't precisely the same as the ones that shipped with my 2018 red line LTZ. They're slightly thinner and 2) the red on these is a shade off of the color red used on the OEM lettering. However, once I placed them on my tailgate, if you were to see them on the road or walk by them in a parking lot - you couldn't really tell. So - I'm glad I picked them up, but they're not exact.

2015 Silverado 1500. Purchased to replace the stock tailgate emblem. Letters on this emblem are a bit larger than the stock which wasn't mentioned in the item description but overall, it still looks sharp.

Really close to factory badging
Not a perfect match to factory Silverado on a red line but as it is on opposite side of tail gate I am pretty sure I will be the only one that knows, and I guess everyone that reads this. Still dont understand why GM does not put the LTZ on a red line edition when I believe the only way to get a Red line is with LTZ trim level.
