The pad is well made. It is large enough to go under a natural ride saddle that I bought without being too short in either direction under the saddle. It would also work for English and dressage saddles as well as go under bareback pads to keep them clean underneath. It is light weight but not too light weight, it is more than a baby pad. But it is not thick like some western saddle pads. It is not going to make up for your horses bad conformation, nor will it fill in deep dips along a spine. But it does come up nicely in front to allow comfort for the horse to move and not pinch withers. This is a well made pad for the price point and would make an excellent schooling pad for all kinds of saddles. and yes I will be ordering another one for another donkey so that they each have their own. This pad looks and feels like you can just pop it into the washing machine for cleaning. I received my pad fairly quick and the packaging kept everything they way it should be.

I have been riding at least 6 horses a day for 5 or 6 months with this pad under my good saddle pads. I wash it once every week or two and throw it in the dryer. It comes out in like new condition and is showing no signs of wear and tear. My good pads are perfectly clean with no sweat or dirt because of my ECP pad! It fits well and never slips. I could not recommend it higher!

The blanket is very colorful; my Granddaughter is pleased; it is however, very thin. She will still have to use another pad under her saddle When she rides.

Since my western saddle fits very well I didn’t need or want the usual thick wool pads for western saddles. I’ve used and like the dressage pads but they aren’t quite long enough for new saddle. I’m actually ordering a second one so I can wash them more often and always have one ready at the barn. Black was my first color choice but I would consider buying other colors if available. Also they machine wash and dry and come out perfect.

I bought this pad for the sole purpose as a western pad "liner" to go under my western saddle pad to help keep it clean and add just a bit more padding. I like that this one is on the longer side, so that it fits under my western pad. It's still a bit shorter than my western pad, but I'm okay with that, and haven't had any trouble with it. This pad doesn't shift or slide when riding. I trail ride - so you're going up and down hills and through crossings, and everything has been fitting well. I love the pink color I selected - I think it's a bit brighter in person, and it matches my pink serape western pad really nicely. Very happy with this purchase. I also posted a picture of my horse from the rear-- if you look closely, you can see the pink liner pad peeking out from the bottom. If you're looking for a liner to go under your western pad to protect it, this might be it!

Very nicely made, but too thin for our needs.

I love this pad, its nice and thin and keeps my horse much cooler on warmer days. My saddle is custom fit to my horse, so I can get away with using a thin pad like this. I have a TW Western saddle, which has neoprene panels that sits on the horses back, not like a traditional western saddle.

It’ll work great under my neoprene saddle blanket. I’ve been looking for a good under the saddle blanket, blanket.

Product is polyester, doesn’t breathe. Wished I’d paid closer attention to the label that describes the product. Very poor info on the Amazon site.
