Low Carb Lifesyle
I have been trying to lose weight lately. I decided to try a low carb lifestyle. The first few weeks of eating low carb got boring, eating the same things everyday. So I searched on Amazon to buy a low carb cookbook. I found Peace, Love and Low Carb. The book is smaller than I thought it would be but it is filled with a lot of nice low carb recipes. I was excited to try something new. The recipes that I have tried so far are yummy and bring more low carb inspiration. The thing I wish I knew before I bought this book is a lot of the recipes is not for people trying to stay under 20 carbs. It looks to be for when you are ready to eat 40 or more carbs a day. In conclusion I would recommend this book for later phases of the low carb lifestyle.

I love the range in this book!
I like the way I feel when I eat low carb, I have tons of energy, clarity, and it keeps my anxiety & depression at bay. However, after a few weeks I always fall off the wagon because traditional low carb food is BORING (and, kind of icky). This book is the answer! The cheesy bacon biscuits are my favorite, they are so versatile :) I'm a student and my cooking skills are mediocre at best, but these recipes are simple and straightforward and even I can make them taste good. I've ordered other popular low carb/paleo cookbooks and the recipe list alone is enough to make me shudder and order take out instead. I'm glad I found your book and I love all the awesome comfort foods! I definitely recommend!

Also a feast for the eyes
The recipes are scrumptious! Ms Holley has given clear instructions for each dish and has gone a step further by showing beautiful color pictures of the ingredients as stated in the recipe. I have never seen this in any other cook book and it is most important since I then have a better idea of the size of the produce (for example a medium onion) and the type of package of cream cheese. Important too is the prep time as well as the cooking times. I'm looking forward to making each dish. There is another cook book on the way and as soon as it hits Amazon I'll get it. I have the other one and plan to purchase all others!

If you only want one low carb cookbook, this is it!
Bought a few for Christmas gifts! I've been going to her website for ages for recipes. They are the best collection I've found. Even if you're not great in the kitchen, these are easy to follow. If you are looking for a good starting place for keto or low carb, I'd start here. I have a few of her books now and I've yet to be disappointed.

Great substance...Not so great presentation
Awesome recipes in this book, and the author's blog has some really great recipes, too. My only complaint is the aesthetic of the cookbook. Normally I'm pretty indifferent to presentation, but the whole book is in B&W, which for food photos really takes away the appeal for me. Also, the book is very thin and in paperback. I guess for what is being charged for the book here, I really was expecting something more than a pamphlet style cookbook.All in all I still like the book and it has some awesome, tasty and healthy recipes, so overall I am very pleased with it. I was just a bit disappointed in the presentation.

Great alternatives for newbies to low carb.
Love the "noodle"substitute. I never would have imagined using eggs.The lasagne was recommended by a friend. I haven't tried it yet, but will very soon.

Love it!
I love all the recipes I have tried so far! Everything has been easy to prepare and all the ingredients are readily available. I do alter the amounts of salt and butter to better suit my personal tastes.My only complaint is that I wish I had known before hand that the paperback version does not have pictures. If I had known I would have just purchased the e-book.

Great low carb book.
So many great recipes in this book! All the recipes are pretty basic and have ingredients that are easy to get.I really like that the nutritional information is provided for each recipe. Some of them have a higher carb amount than I prefer since I follow a keto diet in which I eat less than 20 carbs a day. I have strayed and made some of the higher net carb recipes though. My kids love a lot of the recipes too, which is great because I am trying to reduce the amount of sugar in their diets.There are also photos of each recipe which is a big help for deciding if I want to try something or checking to see if what I am making is turning out right.My favourite recipe is the spicy tuna avocado boats! Yum!

Enjoy this book
Have this in kindle love it use it but really you have given me so many recipes in email that I very seldom get to it down 40 lbs since I started keto do you have onerecipe like lemon pie where you can add own sugar

No photos of recipes
Nice recipes but I'm a visual person and would love some colour photos. I usually end up looking the recipe up on her website so I can see what it will / should look like but bought the book to not have to do this.
