Keep trying if you can't get air in, mine finally gave way, and works great now!
I bought this for myself to use, and got another brand for my dad to use. I got two different brands to see how much different they are, because I want a third one as well for my brother. They aren't that different. Not enough to say I definitely only want to purchase one of them again.I will say, that man, there MUST be a huge quality control issue either with the needles, or the cushion itself where the hole is. So many complained they couldn't inflate it, and I was on that train myself for the first 2 days. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to inflate to where it was going to do anything at all. BUT I kept trying, and I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, there was a "give" when I was pumping so hard, and it felt so tight trying to push down on the pump, and I thought I ruined it by puncturing through to the other side or something (Make sure you have the needle facing in towards the center, and not straight down or you definitely could puncture it!!! So be mindful!) because it got very very loose, and easy to pump. I am not sure if it was something in the needle itself, or if it was a piece of material blocking the hole in the cushion or what. All I know is, it was smooth sailing after that, and it inflated beautifully, and has stayed inflated ever since, and that was the end of July, 2016 when I received it. So, a couple of months now.I have small feet....6.5, so, I am able to balance myself with the one cushion, but I certainly could see how any larger feet, and you really would need a second cushion if you wanted both feet to be on it at the same time. I do both feet as well, as balancing on each one. I don't find it comfortable to sit on at all, but I sit in a recliner, so that might be why.The one side does have spikes, and the other side smooth dots, so you can choose which side you want to stand on. I mostly use the spikey side. Personal preference I guess since I use my bare feet to stand on it.My dad has been in the hospital twice this year for congestive heart failure issues along with electrolyte issues. After each visit to the hospital, I had the dr prescribe him physical therapy to help get him back to where he was before he went in. It really has been miraculous to watch how far he's come. One of the items at PT was a balance cushion. It was much larger than these are, so he is terrified to even try to use one of these smaller ones, unfortunately. He CAN use it, as I've gotten him on it twice, but he WON'T stay on because he's scared. I even had him on it in front of the front door so he had the door to hold himself up against, or use the frame to hold onto, but he won't. He also has dementia, and when he thinks something, you can't change his mind on it. It's almost like he has a form of asperger's or autism in that sense. If you are elderly, or are purchasing a balance item for a senior, I definitely recommend one much larger than this. It works for me and my brother just fine, and is as good as the ones we saw at PT, and used a few times ourselves. Are the expensive ones better quality material, and larger......indeed, BUT this does do the job, and has held up beautifully. It's like it was when I first got it, and I use it often...not daily, but at least weekly. I forget about it, and then remember I have it, and hop on for a bit. It doesn't seem like it does a whole lot, but man, I can really feel it in my thighs the most when I use it.*This product was purchased at FULL price for our own use.

Great core trainer
I've had mine for a week or so and really love it. I've been using it as a balance/core trainer, standing and balancing with both feet for a few minutes at a time. At first it just feels like fun, but after a bit I notice that I really am working some muscles. In fact, I purchased a second one to use at the office with my standing desk. Others have noted problems inflating and deflating. I had this issue at first until I was a bit more aggressive in pushing the pump pin into the valve. You just have to be careful to position the valve so that you do not push the pin through the other side of the cushion. At first it seemed like it just wouldn't go, but finally it felt like I 'pierced' the bottom of the valve. After that I've been able to adjust the level of inflation without issue. Shortly after purchase I also received an email from the seller explaining this. I appreciate their attention to customer satisfaction.

Easy to transport, seeker loves
Works for my seeker! Very portable which is nice. My daughter is a seeker and hates circle time but uses this to help her while sitting for circle time so she can fidget but not be a distraction to the class.

and my husband was able to easily make the necessary inflation/height adjustments quickly the morning before ...
We ordered this for our 7 year old to help him stay in his seat in class based on a recommendation from one of his teachers. It was processed and shipped quickly, and my husband was able to easily make the necessary inflation/height adjustments quickly the morning before we took our son to school. He's only used it for about a week, but already his teacher has told us he's made large improvements with staying in his seat. Not only does it help his fidgeting, but the "knobs" help with sensory input too. It worked so well for my son I'm considering getting a second for my daughter.

A stronger handpump.
I noticed that one of the cushions does not inflate as heavily as the other and I believe there are micro holes in one of the cushions that prevents it from reaching its potential, or simply a stronger handpump is required to inflate the cushions.

Not for kids to sit still but great for exercise
I originally bought these for exercise but then decided to use them for homeschooling (aka covid home learning) for my children to sit on so they didn’t wiggle so much. But that doesn’t work for my kids it’s too hard and they know just kind of stand on them with her feet to play with them so they are back in my gym as far as quality goes they are pretty good if you’re getting them for exercise equipment definitely get it.

The first one I received appeared to be a returned ...
The first one I received appeared to be a returned item as it had been opened and there was no pump included. I returned it too but requested another one, willing to give it another go. The 2nd one arrived and appeared to be complete and new. I inserted the needle and attempted to pump air into the wobble but something didn't seem right - very difficult to pump. My husband gave it a try and showed me that the needle was broken. We replaced the needle. The cushion doesn't hold air. I have no idea what's wrong with it and will be asking for a refund and not repurchasing.

I bought this to help with lower back pain. I actually use it while I am driving. I am very pleased with the results.
