OK - so this is a mixed bag. This mirror has been amazing. Works as described and has not failed yet - even with daily use. However, the first time you use it - brace yourself! The magnification is so high and amazing that you see every little thing on your face! The day I got it I spent a bit of time plucking hairs, etc.. I wasn't sure it was the best idea to see my face that up close and personal but you realize when you put your makeup on it really helps you see any inconsistency or makeup not blended well.

I needed a travel mirror immediately and bought this one and glad I did! It works great in a pinch! Of course, it's not my home mirror but if you need one for travel, this one does great! I wear glasses and needed the magnification so it was a lifesaver for me! It packed nicely and worked great! It's not expensive. I paid about $20 and wouldn't spend more but this was right for the money and I had to have something to put on my makeup! So nice to have then the small compact mirror I tried before! ugh lol This one was good size. Now I have very small compact all the way to good standard size traveler, I like it!

So easy to put uo-2 minutes and ir was secure, Magnification is 8x, which was a rude awakeninf at firt, but it is fabulous...swicels any way you like and light function is most effective,,,AND it was such a reasonable orice for what you get. Shiooing was superfast as well...Great purchae, and I highly recommend it.

This mirror is very nice for up close makeup application, such as eye liner or mascara. However I gave this review three stars because the suction cup does not hold to my smooth stone counter top. I found that I had to hold the mirror in one hand and apply makeup with the other due to the 10x reflection. The mirror needs to be very close to your face to focus in which is what I wanted but I didn't want to have to hold the mirror. Mirror surface space is tiny but the light is bright enough to illuminate the subject.

trust me: I'm good looking to begin with, BUT, with help of this mirror I look 24% even better. groom away any little imperfection. suctio is useless in our environment; I drove 2 screws throgh base directly into wall. why one star deduction? Because, like most sellers this lacks effective & VARIED fastening solution; plus, at $24 for a piece of plastic, a nice piece of plastic, seller can easily afford to include batteries: even rechargeable ones with a charger.

I was looking for my old mirror (left it on my travels) but I actually like this one better, just the right size and I love the way it stays nicely attached to my mirror with the locking mechanism, my old one was falling off all the time. Also, the light is is a nice bonus!

This was much sturdier than I expected. Really works well for what I needed. The light feature is really great as well. I stuck it directly on my mirror in the bathroom to put my makeup on.

I wish I would have spent the little extra money on one that had a longer arm bc I didn't realize with a 10X you have to be SO close to it. I bought this for applying my eye make up but I cannot use it for that. It is a great mirror for plucking my eyebrows! The light is very bright which is nice. I'm always skeptical about things that "suction" but this really does work. I tested it on tile, wood and mirror and it was not coming off.
