AutoTecknic 66 LED Angel Eyes Halo Kit - BMW E46 Pre-Facelift 3 Series Coupe and Sedan

I ordered the Auto Tecknic 66 LED Angel Eyes but received a different product. The ones I received were 42 LEDs, not 66 LED as described. Contacted seller and a different set was shipped, this time was a 120 LED but of inferior quality. The back of the light rings was hold by hot glue which was coming off without even trying to install them. Contacted seller and sent back both sets and got a refund. Seller was cooperative but product didn't meet expectations and was not as described.

I bought these when there was no other review. I figured I would just give them a try since there isn't that much of a risk. Was I wrong. I got them thinking maybe it would take an hour to install them. It took almost a month. I tried 5 different times, with different people and we couldn't get past putting the lights on the headlights and hooking up the ground and + wiring. The issue I had is that there is NO INSTALLATION GUIDE that comes with the product. I had to search the web for guides. But not a single one were about these, they were similar but not exact. I ended up taking the lights to a shop to get them professionally done.My problem is that I emailed the seller and I called numerous times, so if you know EXACTLY how to wire things. Then by all means purchase this. If not, then, be aware that you might have to fork over $150 extra to get them done.Also, I figured this the hard way. many businesses don't mess with these because depending on your headlight, you might have to stick them in an oven to open them up, and they claim it's a liability on their part. And half of one my rings are out due to poor soldering. But I don't think that would be an issue.

It was a little too tedious for me to install (Didnt have the time) but I had someone do it for me, and they really "soop" up my 2000 3 series BMW, a very nice and modern look! Very cool too.

Very good product looks amazing and easy to install great on cold climates brighter than others angel eyes I recommend it

I purchased this halo kit due to its very reasonable price but there is a reason why.Shortly after installing the kit, I noticed that ocassionally the halo's will stay on after I've turned the car off and locked it (no ACC power and no interior lights).This could only be due to a cheap relay that is sticking on.I've also noticed three LEDs on one of the rings sometimes goes in and out.Pretty annoying considering the effort to embed these into the headlights.In hindsight I would have spent double to get a good reliable kit installed the first time.You do get what you pay for.FYI, my kit did come with instuctions but they looked like cheap print-offs from the website that the other reviewers are mentioning.The instuctions are in black and white so its hard to tell wire colors and such.

The product came as described. However, one of the rings was had 3 LED not working. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful. At first, they wanted me to send back the item so that they can send me then new one later. I told them that I had it installed professionally and that they would charge me extra if i came back again to get it uninstalled then reinstalled a different day. When they learned of my situation, they came through and agreed to send me replacement after I send them a photo via email of the defective product, so I did. After receiving my email, they sent me the new one and they told me to discard the defective one.

the angel eyes halo kit its a very nice product but its compaible 100 % for Bmw 3 E46 american version .For the germany version need a small chances because the rings of the halo are diferent sizes !!!

I purchased this kits several months back, wanted to give them a good run before i wrote a review. I have to say i am impressed considering the price. It took me about an hour to fully install them properly. They are bright and look really good during the day. They dont really match my headlights or fogs since i have 10K all around and these LED'S have more of a 6K output. I still like them, no complaints, needed no instructions its pretty straight foward. If u don't think its a simple install, what are you doing trying to work on your beamer yourself in the first place? Sometimes they do stay on for about a minute after u lock the car but i dont mind, helps show them off. They usually dim accordingly with the interior lights. So if this company makes a 10k version of these LED'S im getting them ASAP.
