McCormickGourmet Collection Chili Powder 20 Oz

I designed a logo for a spice grower near me who has a line of locally grown and dried herbs and spices (Solstice™️ Spices). Nothing beats local spices if you can find enough of them and if they are not ridiculously priced and fresh. ...but for what you’d expect from a big brand like McCormick, it is what they say and surprisingly good and fresh. I buy it because I can’t get my hands on enough local chili powder and it can get pricey for this same quantity. I use it so much, that I have no choice :) but it really is actually quite good quality.

McCormick Chili Power Powder is fantastic from our standpoint. It is full of flavor and makes those wonderful winter dishes such as chili mack or chili and beans full of taste without being a gourmet cook. The closest to gourmet cook we get is just reading the word. One thing we noticed is most of McCormicks, actually all that we have purchased from Amazon, have really good expiration dates. Old spices are just that: old and old is not good especially when you want all the taste you paid for. I did one of my comparison tests on this brand as I have done on others and the comparison is still between cream cheese and chalk with chalk coming from the old tasteless stuff.

I use chili powder several times a week, as we enjoy spicy foods. This is a GREAT value, and a delicious powder! I just received it a few days ago and used it in a big batch of chili last night - scrumptious! It's the quality you expect from McCormick's, and much less expensive than buying the little bottles in the grocery store - especially as I usually use an entire bottle in one recipe of whatever I'm making, be it enchiladas, tacos, chili - the list is endless. I recommend this item, and I will definitely be ordering again from this seller!

McCormick's Chili Powder is the go-to chili powder in my pantry. With a touch of garlic, cumin, mexican oregano and whatever else I choose, I'm always confident that my chili tastes great to me, and seems to please most everyone who has some, too.

This is a very mild spice. It adds rich chili flavor without dialing up the heat. Which is probably perfect for those not used to the heat, children, elderly etc. I just add a little extra heat to my chili, but now my kids will eat it without complaining.

this is your supermarket chili powder...spicy enough but not too hot at all...i like this moderation of the supermarket stuff but the tiny bottles on their spice racks gave me serious sticker shock last time out...took me a bit to figure out just which was what on line but i do believe that it was a review right on this site that led me to this, the right stuff i was looking for...sure, this is a volume package compared to the supermarket pill bottles but the amazon price was by many degrees better

This is normal chili powder. Made from chilis. No extra stuff in there.Their regular chilo power has wheat in it. Why?No issues here and will buy it again.
