Quiet - Accurate - Turns Off Automatically When Desired Pressure is Reached
I have 4 larger air compressors in my garage, however I also like having a smaller portable air compressor around for filling tires and to carry with me when I'm on the road in case of an emergency. I already have a small portable air compressor that has seen over 30 years of use and has served me well, but these days it produces more noise than air. So I decided it was time for a new air compressor / tire inflator. When looking on Amazon I was drawn to the MasterAuto Tire Inflator / Air Compressor as it appeared that from the product description you could set the desired tire pressure and the air compressor would turn off automatically once it achieved the proper tire inflation pressure, so I ordered up.The MasterAuto Air Compressor / Tire Inflator (air compressor - for the rest of the review) came with a couple of accessories including a ball needle, 2 different sized air nozzles, and a spare fuse. The power cord and air hose for the air compressor are both permanently attached and tucked inside a recess on the rear of the compressor. This air compressor also has is a built in light which I hope to never have to use, but if filling a tire on the side of the road at night I can see where this light would come in handy.I'm a tech geek and normally read the owner's manual, but this air compressor looked simple enough that I skipped over the manual. (Yes I'll read it later.) To use the compressor I pulled both the power cord and air hose from the open compartment on the back of the air compressor. At first I was a little worried that the power cord was too short to reach all the tires on my Honda Ridgeline, however with the power cord at a little over 9 foot in length I was just able to reach all the rear tires.Once plugged in the digital display lit up pulled the air momentarily showing the set pressure and pressure units. (Available Units: KPA, PSI, BAR, KG/c㎡) Using the "R" button I changed the pressure units to read PSI and then used the "+" and "-" buttons to enter the desired tire pressure in .5 increments. Note: PSI pressure can be set between 3 PSI and 150 PSI in .5 PSI increments and the air compressor remembers the last set air pressure so you don't have to reset the desired air pressure for each tire or each time you use it.With the compressor set to 36 PSI I clipped the 90 degree nozzle onto the tire valve stem I pressed the on/off button and the tire pressure hummed to life. Once running I noticed that this air compressor is a lot quieter than my old one, the seller says the noise level on this unit is just a little over 60 decibels. My tires were just a few pounds under-inflated and the air compressor was able to achieve the desired pressure of 36 PSI in just a minute or so with the digital gauge showing progress of the current tire pressure in .5 PSI increments. Once the pressure gauge reached 36.5 PSI the compressor kept running for a few seconds more until it hit 36.5 PSI which I thought was a nice touch as you always loose just a little bit of tire pressure when you remove the air fill nozzle from the valve stem.I repeated these steps on all 4 tires and then checked each tire pressure with an accurate digital tire gauge and the tire pressures were all between 36 and 36.5 PSI. Nice!Okay, so far I really like this air compressor but it is not perfect. Some nitpicks are I would prefer the power cord be just a foot or two longer. Also the recessed area in the compressor that hold the air fill hose and power cord is a little tight for my liking. (Kind of standard for these little air compressors.) However, I will just store the air fill hose in this area and wrap the power cord around the outside of the compressor. And the last nitpick is I wish it came with a storage bag, but for the price I paid for this compressor a storage bag was not expected.Bottom line I'm very pleased with this air compressor. Being able to set the desired tire pressure and walk away is very handy and a feature I won't do without should I purchase another portable air compressor in the future.I hope this information was helpful. I've included a few pictures below showing measurements and the included accessories.

There's also a slot on the other end so you can fold and store the cord easily. Digital gauge is also a huge plus
I got this to replace an old one compressor my dad gave me to keep in the car. We had a tire blow out a few months back in the middle of the night, so I specifically chose this one because it has the led flashlight on one end. There's also a slot on the other end so you can fold and store the cord easily. Digital gauge is also a huge plus. I haven't needed to inflate any tires yet but was able to use it to blow up our giant unicorn pool floatie. It worked fine, although the attachments that came with the compressor are a little flimsy. Overall, for the price, I would certainly recommend.

Definitely worth the money
For under $30 this pump is a steal in my opinion. It fills at a decent speed, from 0 PSI to 80 PSI it took me about 15 minutes and that's pretty good. It's not exactly quiet but it isn't obnoxiously loud, still wouldn't recommend using in the morning to be courteous. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because it isn't long enough to get the rear wheels of a long bed truck, even with the power cord and pump fully extended, you're going to need another power source like a second car or extension if you have one. Other than that, it's completely worth it.

Helpful for Letting Air Out of Your Tires
My Honda Accord is famous for leaking air out of all four tires slowly over the course of several weeks. Every now and then, I am surprised to find all four tires nearly flat at the same time when I wake up. I ordered this product hoping it could help me from time to time. Right out of the box, I hooked this up to one of my tires and to my amazement, it worked like a charm. Took an hour and a half, but it did work. Buoyed by my success, I took it to the next tire, hooked it up, let it go...and not only did it not fill, it started to leak the rest of the air out of the tire. Flat and unhappy, I tried several times to connect it again but each time, the tire got lower and lower. Thinking it had to be my own fault, I took it to the next tire and tried it with the exact same results. Naturally, by the time I had used the product I had already had it for months and it would not be eligible for any type of refund. It is currently laying around the back floor of the car, keeping people from being able to put their feet down.Do not purchase this unless you have a need for four flat tires on your car.

Works perfectly, EXCELLENT
My daughter kept talking about this and really wanted it. We always went somewhere to have our tires inflated. She wanted this so we didn’t have to constantly go somewhere to have our tires done.I bought this for her and she was happy. We used it on our tires and it worked great. It filled up the tires perfectly. It was easy to use and we didn’t need a user manual to use it. You just set your psi and put it on your tire, turn it on and it fills your tire where you need it.Best part is you can take it and use when traveling if your tire gets low. It plug right into your cigarette lighter port and power up so this is portable which was a plus for us. I would highly recommend this. It’s so easy to use that even a child can use it. One of my Best Buy’s.

Everyone that has a car should has this tire inflator.
This my second time buying this brand. It is affordable, save time, save money, useful, and handy. You can pump your car wherever and whenever you need. You set the needed PSI and it will automatically shut off when your tires reach the target pressure. You will not need to go to gas station to pump your tires. It frustrating to be getting air at a gas station altering paying for the air and have it end before the tire being at the proper pressure. My son received a new mountain bike yesterday. After my son and my husband put the bike together, my son attempted to manually pump the tires. Due to the pressure requirement, he was exhausted pumping. We went to the car and plugged in the pump and inflated the bike tire to 80lbs. It completed the process in less than two minutes without much effort. It works great!
