quite a lot back ground information on DIOR as a business, but some what more photoos would have been nice

I thought this book would have far more pictures in it, but it is mostly writing and I was not really interested in reading about Dior, I was more interested in seeing picture's of the clothing he has made.

This is a lovely book which gives a valuable insight into a master craftsman. Dior excelled at producing beautifully crafted clothes. The New Look launched in 1947 was a welcome tonic after the austerity of the second world war when clothes were of neccesity kept to the minimum. A marvellous read. Highly recommended.
