Fintie Carrying Case for Nintendo Switch OLED Model 2021/Switch 2017, [Shockproof] Hard Shell Protective Cover Travel Bag with 10 Game Card Slots & Inner Pocket

I decided on this particular case due to the color offered. I originally purchased a plain black case from another company, but when I travel, since I am always late and rushing around to pack at the last minute at the hotel, or getting my things together and put back in my carry-on for disembarkation on a plane, I was worried it would be too easy to think I had it packed in my equally black carry-on bag when it really was under the bed, covered by the bedspread, kicked under the seats on the plane, etcetera. The color I chose makes it much, much easier to spot. Although my original case is a bit harder, this case is quite sturdy and should protect your switch wherever you take it. I wouldn't recommend packing anything on top of it, but then I wouldn't anyway unless your switch was strapped down in a thick metal container. Nor is this suitable for checked baggage at the airport, but I wouldn't trust checking a switch anyway since I wouldn't want to take the chance it would somehow get 'lost' especially when the size and shape of a switch case makes the contents obvious. What this is great for is carrying your switch wherever you take it with you. I have the OLED and it straps in extremely securely. The inside is lined with soft material to prevent scratches. I have accidentally kicked it across the room, banged it against the wall, dropped it from standing height, knocked it into a chair, couch, thick wooden stair railing, and side of the car while carrying it; the switch was well protected every time. I really like the fact the side opposite the switch is a zippered pocket, rather than just an elastic half-pocket like the case I bought originally. Every case claims you can fit an extra set of joy-cons in them and while they do fit, the fit is so snug I'm not sure it's the best idea. Once zippered and shut, the joy stick portion seems like it would be pushed in, being tight against the switch itself. After all, the joy sticks are also buttons and being pushed in seems inevitable with all the cases due to their width, although I admit I have not thought of a test I could use to determine if there really is enough room, and for all I know, it doesn't hurt the joystick. I do have to admit this case does seem to have a little extra room for that as opposed to others I've looked at, as well as the black I bought originally. There is a sturdy felt flap in the middle for your games, which should adequately protect them as long as you don't try to overfill the zippered pocket. I prefer the small hard cases for the games that came with my first case, but then I'm overly cautious when it comes to the $50+ tiny little sd cards the games come on. The marbled green color I chose is gorgeous and absolutely true to the picture. I've gotten a lot of compliments. If you're debating on cases, I would absolutely recommend this without any reservations, it's a beautiful, sturdy case that will do a great job of protecting your investment.

I love the color and it feels very durable and well made, I love the inner mesh zipper to keep my joycon accessories. I also appreciate the quality of the zippers. For the price point its very much worth it :))

Love the whole thing. It has YKK zippers, which are, and please correct me if I'm wrong, the very finest of quality zipper makers around. I appreciate the double outer zips, and the inner zipper pocket is a fine touch. Mine is holding my joycon attachments and some amiibo cards. The super soft back of the game card holder makes me feel confident that my screen [protector] won't get scratched if my switch is jostled during carrying. And if I dare to fumble and drop it! Well, the hard shell casing has me insuranced. And! I'm sure the case looks fantastic in any coloring, but I got the Emerald Marble version and I heckin love it. It's gorgeous.

it fits my switch well, holds all my game cartridges. only thing I don't like is the elastic strips inside meant to hold the switch. I understand its purpose but the case already zips up so I think its redundant.

Hard case and a great soft velvet material inside. Colors are perfect for anyone loving Starry Night and wanting a case that’s a little more mature or standout from a traditional case. Fits snug and room for games. Good quality would definitely purchase again.

Very nice case and nice colour. Just wish it was a bit bigger so it could better fit the charger for when you need to take it travelling.

Good value for the money I paid. Bought it to match the animal crossing edition of the switch and it matches perfectly. The exterior seems very durable and there's a mesh zipper pocket inside as well as a flap with slots to hold the games.

Nintendo switch fits perfect lots of space for games, but would have liked it to have room for charger.
