Rice-A-Roni Rice, Cilantro Lime, 5.6 Ounce

Rice-a-Roni had been around forever and is a hit or miss as far as taste and I would never risk a guest dinner with it unless I could find one of the exact few flavors I enjoy. This was one I tried by accident and wow I live this item. It’s not so overwhelming like yet beautiful intense complex yet refreshing rice that can be integrated in so many hot and cold dishes especially in summer. Not just my usual favorite go to Mexican dishes, which I now use as a staple reliable side dish that is easy, goes with most entrees without competing or contrasting in flavors but also can be part of a main dish or dessert. If I am cooking for a quick nice dinner I add chicken that I sauté first and then add t hi s to cook together and add some veggies that I have on hand and it’s a healthy fresh meal and leftovers are even more tasty for lunch. I hope I can continue to find this product - and am going to try a summer rice pudding with key lime this week!

Simple to make and so good !!!

The flavor was good particularly after adding a Cilantro Lime Shrimp dish to the rice. The cooking process was very different from other Rice a Roni dishes I have eaten in the past.

I wasn’t expecting much... but after failed attempts at “chipotle rice” on my own I was ready to try this and it surprised me beyond belief!!!! Seriously SO good and close to the real thing!!! I’m actually in shock that I was able to curb my chipotle rice craving at home with this. Highly recommend for all chipotle Rice lovers

The taste is fabulous with this one. But it isn't the Cilantro Lime flavor I was hoping for. Great in a pinch when rice is needed for a meal.
