US PeaceKeeper P51515 EDC Compact Pack

I wanted a concealed carry pack that would work for three of my favorite carries: Ruger GP100 with 3" barrel, Beretta Px4 Storm Sub-compact, and Springfield XDs 45. How did it do? Well, the GP100 barely fit, and did so at a straight-up position, which worked fair enough for a draw. Packs are always trade-offs; I can live with it. As for the Beretta and XDs...perfect fit. This pack works really well for sub-compact pistols (and probably J frame revolvers), but the 3" GP100 .375 mag just barely...but close enough for me.For me, this is not a quick draw set-up. But then, I do not think it was designed for that. With practice and judicious placement of the draw string, I can get the GP100 drawn in a satisfactory time frame. I wouldn't want to go up against Boone (from the last episode of Justified) or test the "21 foot rule" with this rig. But plenty of time, relatively speaking, to draw and do away with a rattler or cotton mouth.The front pockets work well for speed loaders, magazines, utility knives, iPhone's, wallets, etc. Overall, the pack doesn't draw undue attention or scream "shoot me first, I'm carrying." I'm right handed and carry it cross-chest strapped on my left hip. Note- be sure....very sure...you are consistent with the placement of the draw strings...and practice until you can draw your weapon in without getting tangled in cords. It is comfortable to wear and just the right size for car travel.The product is well made. I think it accomplished the mission. What's not to like?
