Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer Waterproof Kitchen Food Thermometer for Cooking BBQ Grill Smoker (Red)

I have to confess that I use this instrument for only two things, neither of which has to do with cooking. I originally bought it to check the cooling temperature of my HVAC system. It works just fine for that. I also use it on occasion to measure the temperature outside of the house. I'm satisfied with getting accurate readings for both uses. I cannot vouch for its efficacy for culinary purposes.

We loved this thermometer. Used it the fist evening we received it and it worked right out of the box. This is so easy to use and gives up a spot on temp. for every type of meat we have eaten. I would recommend it to everyone.

How do I begin. We wanted a more instant read thermometer so this replaced one I loved. Stupid me for not checking the accuracy of this new one before getting rid of the old one. I purchased this product based on the reviews and boy did I get fooled because this piece of junk did not deliver. When it comes to food and safety this thing did not deliver. You cannot tell me my meat is reading 190 F on two separate occaisions (Chicken and Pork) when I purposely set out to check the temps in the MIDDLE of my cooking time. Both Meats appeared very pink inside. First take, I thought I had done something wrong.(Did I fall asleep for hours only to wake up and not realize it was too late? Did the timers stop in my house by some strange magnetic force?!?NO.) This thermometer cannot be trusted to temp accurately so spare the food poisening and possible death from undercooked/raw food and stick to relaible brands or stores that sell cooking appliances who will have better guarantees for their products.

Love this. Folding makes it a lot easer to use at angle you want to check meat temp.!! Like this a lot better than the two lollypop ones i got !!!! Get your self one, or two my wife uses it in kitchen and loves it also.

Temp meters are temp meters, but for the price, this is one of the good ones. Very accurate and well made. Shuts off when the probe is retracted and readings very visible. Very happy with the purchase.

This is an excellent food thermometer. Reads fast and accurate. Easy to use. I like how it has the temperature guidelines for each type of meat on the front of the device. I would recommend it to others and buy it again.

My husband uses it to check the temperature of the food he cooks.
