Beautifully, beautifully written. Truly shows the responsibility, time, effort and love put into owning a horse. The dilemmas, problems, events, excitement and love put into loving a horse. Every chapter was gripping, and really kept me entertained throughout, it is what I call"Even though I am getting cramps in my hand from holding my kindle I'm not going to put it down because I'm at a good bit"The end really stung me and made me feel for the little girl.If I had to sum this series up in 5 words they would be..."Practically perfect in every way."

I know that this is a real story but the ending is just impossible. For a girl so horse mad she just couldn't give up so easily. Still a fantastic series though it makes me desperately want a horse. I would do anything to have a life like abbies.

My daughter is a horse mad 9 yr old and has an abundance of horse based stories. This one is fine but not, in her view, up there with The Pony Detectives

Good read. My daughter LOVED this book. Well written and great story. Highly recommended to KS2, tween age and even the grown ups love it too
