Essentials of Corporate Finance with Connect

This book is the same as the regular book but just the numbering of the pages are different. This a great buy for the price and for the information contained inside this book. If you have problems finding were you are in the book compared to the your class mates just use the example number which is the same for both books. I used this book for class and had no problems except for the number page deal(which was not a big deal.)

Mine actually did come with the code and it was a brand new book. I was very satisfied.

Used at Western Washington University in 2010. If corporate finance is interesting to you, you will probably like this book. If the words "corporate finance" put you to sleep, you will probably not like this book. I tend toward the sleepy side of that spectrum, so this book was just 'meh' to me - but it did explain the material and help me pass the class, so I can't fault it too much.Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. Because the experience of others has been so helpful to me, I try to provide honest, helpful reviews to assist other shoppers in selecting the right products for them. This book was highly technical and made for very dry and boring classes but I learned a lot from it. The cover was absolutely beautiful.

This book does not have the same pages numbers as the edition they use at TAMUCT. However, with a little searching, the exact information and chapter order is the same. For the price, I recommend this book.

This book is required for a Finance course. This is one of the worst college level textbooks I have ever been exposed to. I am taking this course as a requirement for a 3rd college degree so I have bought a few textbooks.There are answers to every other problem and not one explanation as to how the answer was derived. Oh wait!!!, you can buy the accompanying student workbook and there are some semi-explanations there.If this book is intended to be a teaching tool it has failed. The authors deserve an F and should reconsider themselves as "professors" or educators.My university will hear about this total waste of money.Authors (of this book), educators and others: feel free to contact me and I will elaborate. Really useful as a text to aid studying the core concepts within corporate finance. Easy to follow and provides examples to aid learning. Great book highly recommend for any studying corporate finance.
