It is a little noisy but if the critters don't like it I'm fine with that. We have had a significant rain the last 3 days and it's still working. Was very easy to install, worked right away. I think it's a very good value for the money. Next I'm going to try it around my car so the mice don't make a nest and eat the wires during the winter this year.

bought this for a mole problem, moles were still digging with this product, moved them around and still did not deter the moles, after 1 year, both stopped working even after new batteries were installed, and yes they do make noise so if your close by you will here it going off.

it seems to have mad a rattler that was living in the garden go away...can't ask for more than that...but the damn thing scares me every time it goes off

I don't know if these work or not! I've got one by my compost pile and one near my vegetable garden..two months later, I've not seen a snake, mole or any other critters not welcome in my garden...if it could keep the weeds away, I would've given it 5 stars!

No more eaten hedges. Going into cooler weather, I know that my hedges and plants are protected. Too bad that this model is no longer made.

It's a long long way from "ultrasonic". It's audible, and annoying. It might keep rodents away, but it keeps you out of the yard too.

Didn’t work for me. We bought a home and it appears for many years their has been activity. Our yard is full of tunnels. I tried moving them around and daily activity continued. The gophers were so unphased by them they burrowed up next to one.

I've had two of these in my back yard installed for 3 weeks, and I hear their rattle and sound every 30 seconds. But the rats are still having a party in my back yard. Don’t waste your money, look elsewhere. I have not yet found a solution.
