Only good things to say and lots of them too.
I wanted to wait for a few months to review the Bi-Est Estriol & Estradiol cream to be sure I could be comprehensive in y assessment. I ordered Bi-Est in June of this year so I’ve given it a summer long testing period since some of my more troublesome symptoms are exacerbated n the summer. FYI, i took some other people’s advice and complement my use of Bi-Est with the Pro-Relief Balance Cream as the progesterone it contains is supposed to have a protective effect against supplemental estrogen on uterine health - in my understanding anyway, but I am not a medical professional. The symptoms I was looking to alleviate were primarily:1. Daytime hot flashes out of the blue four or five times a day,2. Hideous drenching sweat episodes (I mean wring out your dress because it is thoroughly soaked sort of sweat - full body fountains of sweat - Albert Brooks fills in as weekend anchor in Network News sort of sweat. Prior to menopause I NEVER sweat in any way that I found remotely uncomfortable. My entire life’s sweat history up to that point consisted of the delicate “girl glow” after physical exertion. Becoming a walking stink fountain every time I went outside when the temperature was over 70 degrees was one of the most disheartening things my body ever did to me.)3. Unnerving weight gain - though that mostly occurred in the first few months of menopause, I had halted the packing on of pounds with great difficulty within the first year, but was unable to lose that weight - about 40 pounds in the four years subsequent. Having always been underweight for my height and bone structure, this was the most perplexing thing my body ever did to me - I never realized how exhausting it was to carry a bunch of extra weight and how unlike myself I felt. My physical relationship with the world was suddenly precarious - I knocked things over with excess flab that appeared all over the place (how did my ELBOWS get fat?) had to wear yoga pants all the time because nothing else could be trusted not to split, slopped over the side of subway seats, and looked ancient as the crypt keeper with my new swinging jowls dragging my face down to my neck. And I was hungry ALL the TIME, even if I had just eaten. For the first time in my life I could not resist a snack - I went from two pretty good size meals plus one smaller meal a day, to non-stop eating from the moment I got up to well after midnight. I didn’t have meals, I had nosh. Endless nosh. Even if you try to stick to celery sticks and water crackers, it’s too many calories in.4. This is the NSFW part, but it has to be mentioned because it is relevant - my inability to achieve orgasm (or, just as awful, achieving tiny sneeze like orgasms that felt more irritating than exhilarating. ) And possibly related, the sinking of my pelvic floor and everything inside it. For example, I was miserably constipated because everything had to go slightly uphill for the last few inches of its journey. I couldn’t even pee properly - instead of a stream, it was more of a strong mist - not at all what you want. Plus, no matter how assiduously I pushed to evacuate my bladder and to dab everything furiously bone dry with wads of toilet paper, as soon as I stood up and pulled up my panties - an extra drop that had been skulking around somewhere would emerge, triumphant and unbowed. So how did it go? Let me tell you:1. Hot flashes: The hot flashes are tremendously reduced to one or two a week. And they are over much more quickly - I almost never feel like a curling iron heating up to high and then smoldering away since someone forgot to turn me off. They are still unpleasant (and slightly sweaty which they had not been before) but I don’t live in dread of them.2. Sweating Like a Bear Around a Campfire: It was a humid summer. And I had to do a lot of outdoor walking due to my job. I was not back to “glow girl” status, and when I sweat, I still sweat everywhere, but there is noticeably much less altogether, and it takes longer before the sweat starts when I exert myself in the heat and humidity. Not once this summer did I have to practically take a bath in the bathroom sink at work after my commute, nor did I have to wring out my skirts and try to remove moisture from my blouses with paper towels. I’m sure everyone in my office is much relieved.3. Excess Weight: i have to note that about A month adter I started using the Bi-Est and Pro-Relief creams I started drinking a half glass of juice with a half teaspoon of Agar Agar powder (a seaweed product) mixed in. The Agar Agar is supposed to expand as it soaks up water in your digestive tract, keeping you feeling fuller more rapidly anf for longer. So I can’t say for sure what has bern helping, but the weight has bern creeping off - just about 25 pounds down, 15 more to go. And it is still coming off. I am back to three meals a day, no snacking, I follow 1200 is plenty which helped me halt the weight gain initially, and altogether I have not had to make a big effort for the weight to come off. Reduced sweating also probably helped a bit since I have resumed my 2 mile a day brisk walk that I had given up due to my fears of dissolving into a puddle of fat and sweat. I do notice that the weight has not come off evenly - my elbows and pretty much everything else is skinnier, but my midsection, while improved, is resisting getting back to normal4. The Not Safe For Work stuff. Hooray! Orgasms are back in a big way, and just as delightful - maybe even more delightful than ever actually - I didn’t know it was possible for them improve. I still have to mentally work myself up to getting busy rather than just falling on my partner like a she-wolf on the regular, but did I mention - Hooray! They are back! What a joy. I missed them soooo much. As for for the sinking pelvic floor, I don’t know if it’s the Bi-Est and Pro-Balance creams, the agar agar sweeping everything along like a big old broom, or regular exercise - probably all of the above, but those problems are history! No more stuff stuck in my rear end, struggling to make its way uphill, no more mist of urine or wayward drops! I don’t dread the bathroom anymore!Additional benefit, not abticipated:No more cloudy, foggy brain and struggling to remember what I’m doing, as I’m actually doing it. I thought this was age related, but it seems to be hormone related as well because I feel like my brain synapses are just crackling with vim and vigor. My skin is freaking amazing. I always had goid skin because I keep myself drenched in SPF 500 or whatever is highest. I never had wrinkles. But even though I inherited fantastic bone structure (my cheekbones are almost above my eye sockets), my skin was losing tone, it was becoming lax and droopy. Now I’m sure losing weight helps, but I think improved hormones are making my skin look alive and tight. It is quite an improvement and i have not changed my skin care regime or products. So I’m going to credit the creams.About the creams themselves and how I’ve been using them: the creams are light, like very fine lightly whipped cream with no graininess or heaviness and absorb into my skin like a dream with absolutely no residual stickiness or greasiness. I was worried about that because I have oily skin and I generally don’t like using body cream unless I have to. They don’t leave any sort of residue or shine and I have never had a problem with them rubbing off or leaving marks or odor on clothing. Once they are on, it’s like they were never there. There is an extremely slight and not unpleasant medicinal smell to them when they come out of their containers - almost herbal I’d say, like witchhazel - which fades immediately once the creams are absorbed. I used one pump of each once a day in the morning. I heard the parts of your skin can become habituated to them and absorb less of the active ingredient over time - which sounds like nonsense to me, but since I can be a tad obsessive I made up a spreadsheet of absorption sites: wrists, behind knees, upper inner arms, front of thighs - anyplace the skin is not super thick - and I rotate through them - a different cream on a different spot each day (I put them on separate spots because I got it into my head somehow that they will cancel each other out if they touch, LOL, and I’ve become superstitious about it.). I don’t put them on my neck, my face, my chest, or my lower abdomen in case they interfere with thyroid function or might exacerbate the possibility of getting breast or uterine cancer. I had stage 2 melanoma about 10 years ago and freak out about the slightest possibility of anything encouraging that sort of thing again, especially on my face. So, right or wrong, that’s why I avoid those areas.Oh, I should also mention that I am in good health generally and had a physical a few weeks before I started using the creams - coincidentally - not because I was starting the creams - and am in excellent health - no heart or cholesterol or blood sugar issues at all, all blood work was normal. You may want to have evetything checked out if you haven’t already done so before starting anything like this.Other people have noted an issue with the pumps on the bottles. I don’t know if it was the pump, but the entire top of my first Pro-Balance bottle came off in my hand the first week I started using it, but I contacted the company and they sent out a new bottle via overnight mail. The pump IS a bit wonky on the Pro-Relief bottle - it tends to clog slightly, but not disastrously and it doesn’t really bother me. I am in my second bottle of Bi-Est; still working on the first bottle of Pro-Balance (it’s a bigger bottle than the Bi-Est.Overall, the creams are easy to use, pleasant, and seem to have had a significantly positive effect on my menopause symptoms and therefore, my life. I would not want to be without them or have their formulation change at all. And just for the record, I bought the creams myself, they were not promotional materials gifted to me and I do not expect any compensation for this review.

Bioidentical hormones are awesome, this brand is sooo smeary
I've had an amazing experience with bioidentical hormones (estrodial,, estrial+progesterone) to help with severe insomnia due to peri-menopause, echoing the thousands of different reviews saying the same. Two doctors never identified my heart palpitations as possibly due to peri-menopause, even after a clean echo, and I'm 48! Self-treatment was the only way I could find relief after 6 months of about an hour or two of sleep each night. I recently found an OB/GYN who prescribes them through a compounding pharmacist (@ $100 a month) - it was good to try it once to be certain what levels I need and to get my blood tested to make sure there wasn't something else going on. He was so surprised that OCTs existed and was skeptical at my first visit, but was also surprised by my results after seeing the blood tests (I had a panel ordered from another doctor before I saw him, so I had pre and post treatment data). These creams are a life saver. This brand smells better than Smokey Mountain Naturals but is extremely extremely smeary and takes forever to dry. So far, I like Ostaderm the best. The tube lasts forever and gets every bit out, it most closely resembles the quality at the compounding pharmacist and doesn't smell.

WORKS!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for giving me my life back. I took Premarin for 25 years. Now doctors will not prescribe it due to cancer risk. My endocrinologist prescribed estropipate but it is off the market. It caused me to have post-menopausal bleeding and period cramping. Without help I have mood swings, terrible cold shivers, cannot sleep, no sex drive, etc. I am now back to normal thanks to your product. Cannot thank you enough.

A very good product for hormone replacement therapy
This is a great product for me and works very well for hormone replacement therapy. I started taking bioidentical hormones about 7 weeks ago -12 months after my last period. The Bi-est cream in conjunction with progesterone cream has been a great help with vaginal dryness and vaginal atrophy and I expect that this will be the case as I continue and my hormone levels stabilize. At first, it may not seem like much is happening, so give it some time.I'm using one pump in the am and one pump in the pm and may cut down to 1x daily when my levels build back up. Before I started this I was so dry and sore down there and this has really helped with this. Also, I was very tired, and this has improved my energy levels too. I had hot flashes for about 1 and 1/2 years prior to that, but they had subsided, so I can't say as to whether or not it helps with hot flashes. I am also using a dhea and coconut oil vaginal suppository at night. The cream has literally no smell to it, it isn't greasy and absorbs easily in about 3-5 minutes. I don't feel like a teenager again (why would I want to?) , but I do feel very rejuvenated after using this product and sex is not painful anymore ( I still use lubricant beforehand, though). This is just my experience and ymmv, but for me, this is working very well.

Sleep and shrinking belly!
At 52 this has been the only thing in the last decade to help me lose weight. It also gives me sound sleep which I haven’t had in years. As a result of finally feeling rested, I started to do a little arm workout, nothing major, but the results from that small change are impressive and have led to more healthy changes and improved mood. All of the recent positive changes in my life seem to stem from starting to use this. So glad I stumbled across it! Will be auto-subscribing.
