Meh
Did nothing for me, I was excited to try because my two cats shed like crazy and I was tired of looking like a lint roller. Didn’t do a thing for me when washing bedding. But then again it’s my fault for not realizing you need a top loading machine for this product which I do not have so that may be why it didn’t work for me.

Not what I expected
Haven’t really collected much in the Nets and the other problem I had was that it unraveled from the sewing

Not exactly flimsy, definitely delicate.
Other reviewers have spoken about the "flimsiness" of these filters, and while that's not exactly true I can see how they drew those conclusions. To be aware of during this review, please note my experience is limited to the use of these in portable style washing machines, wherein one side is for washing/rinsing, and the other spin-dries.I put two into a soft cycle to start, and they went through the 15 minutes of washing just fine. I then emptied the water and reloaded [without turning the clothes in any way] and after the 10 minute rinse cycle, 1 made it out perfectly fine, and the other had 2 of the 3 prongs snap, which caused a small gouge in the foam from the sharp parts [the foam was easily found and disposed of]. I then used the other, unbroken filter in a 2nd load of laundry on a normal cycle, and it made it through the wash AND rinse cycles just fine, though it did end up trapped in a pair of boxers.Based on observing the cycles, and when the filter seemed to show the most "distress", and also knowing how my portable washer treats my clothing, if the following tips are followed, these SHOULD last several washes at least.First: Portable washers work by literally spinning the clothes in a single direction, and then in the opposite direction. This means they are rougher on your clothes [and these filters] than a standard top load washer. Anyone that uses them would have noticed your clothes end up a tangled mess, and sometimes stretched because of this. As such, my tips for prolonging the health of these filters are as follows:1. Do NOT overload the washer. Wash as little as possible at a time, and use ONE filter, so as to not crowd the water, and reduce the chances of collisions and total entrapment.2. Try adding MORE water in the washer than you might usually. This will help prevent #1, as well as give the floating lint a better chance at being caught, and not laid upon the clothing.3. Check on the washer often. This might be common sense, but really you should do it anyway. If you notice in the viewing window that you can't see the filter, stop the wash, locate it, and ensure it's not tangled. If it is, try adding water or removing clothing to keep it safe again. You may also need to de-tangle clothing, even without using these, as tangled clothing causes more violent water, which can also shake the machine and not wash everything properly anyway.Following these tips has, thus far, prevented another breakage. If you find yourself facing one, and can't buy more: Try crocheting little arms and securing it to the mesh to re-attach the foam flotation flower to the mesh bag.As for how much lint they caught: Each load caught roughly 1/3 of the mesh bag FULL of lint and pet hair. I do have 17 cats though, so that's honestly not surprising. Just imagine how much lint I was picking off before buying these.

These do nothing
These are useless. They don't catch any lint. I have a top load washer and I fill the washer at least 2 inches above the clothes (per the instructions) and it catches barely any lint, if at all. And our clothes have lint. I have long hair and we have 2 cats and a dog who sheds. Don't waste your money.

A must-have for all mini washing machine owners
There are two things I discovered after recently purchasing a mini washing machine:1) Nothing's getting clean without at least one set of washing machine agitators (that's a story for another review)and2) if you don't want all your wash to come out covered in lint and hair, you *need* lint traps - yes, I mean multiple lint traps.Who would've thought an 8 lb. max wash tub would require four floating lint traps?? But it does, for me especially. I have a black long-haired cat. But the purchase of sets of both the aforementioned products made my grimace at the sight of the first few loads I washed transform into the contented grin on my face that is there now as I get my clothes and linens ready to dry. It's like night and day, really.I got them in the mail after I bought the agitators. The description for the agitators said they'd catch some hair and lint. They don't. But they do clean the clothes better, and they loosen the lint and hair so that these handy little lint traps can catch them. And they do. My photos are 100% legit. I didn't alter anything at all, not the size or the light level or anything else. I have experimented with them a bit. A full load needs all four of them, and don't overfill. They need plenty of water to do their stuff. For a half load, maybe 2 will do. I didn't find one to be terribly effective, but as previously mentioned, I have special laundering needs. The type of material also needs to be taken into account. For a load of towels, I'd put them all in, regardless of the size of the load. Just always make sure they have enough water to swirl around freely. I've sat and watched them go for the entire wash cycle. It'll seem as though they aren't doing much but then you'll take them out and see they've all caught a good amount. All in all, these turned out to be very useful to me - and more than lived up to their hype. If you have a mini washer, or even just a full sized top loader that you don't feel catches enough of your laundry debris, give these guys a go. You won't be disappointed.

Does not work
I have a golden retriever and that means hair everywhere. I have a top loading machine but this doesn’t work. I have tried putting in middle, on top, inside- waste of $10. I didn’t have time to return it within the allotted time 🤷♀️. Not sure what the Methodology behind it is but Amazon should look into this product before continuing to sell to be sure it works. If it does work, be sure to specify which brand and model of washer to use it in?!?

Hard to empty
The filter sock collects a good amount of lint but they are very difficult to clean. The filter needs to be turned inside out and there's hardly enough room to accomplish that between the arms that hold the float in place. I trashed these and bought ones with just two float arms. And even those snap open to remove lint. These do not.

didn't work
Didn't work, I washed a very hairy cat blanket and it caught nothing. Since posting this review I had had an email from the seller with a picture of a washing machine they say it works with. The picture was of an American large top loading machine! So not only does the product not work it isn't even meant for UK machines. DON'T BUY.
