Q: What is the bar diameter

Usually somewhere around 50mm, or around 1.96" for the outer ends where you'd slide the weights onto it. These are olympic standard weights, they fit my olympic bars no problem, so they should fit any olympic bar. They're just your basic weight plates with a coating of paint over the metal, but consistency with their sizing and quality is two thumbs up. Nice looking basic plates.
