Lord Mocks Celtic knot Planchette (Spirit Pointer)

I'm very happy with what I received. The Celtic design is absolutely beautiful. It's definitely light in weight and very delicate. It would easily snap along the grain. Not necessarily from a drop itself, but possibly if something was dropped on it or it was improperly put away. The wood seems to be a plywood veneer of some sort, but I am a complete novice in this area, far from an aficionado of wood and it's grades. There are some rough edges on the underside and a small glop of what I think is stain. There were a couple of small hairs stuck in the stain on the top, that after plucking them off left very fine lines. However, unless you look for them, no one would notice. Overall, I'm very pleased. The seller, however, left me a tad bothered by a lack of empathy for a package that was over a week late, had no shipping updates and left me with an option for a refund. So I ask for one. Kindly and politely. Interestingly enough, in the half hour to 45 minutes it took for me to do it, there was finally an update of which I did not see. So, I got a one line response that said the tracking info shows it was in my area. Fair enough. And maybe I am being too sensitive. But as a seller, wouldn't you want to acknowledge the situation with your customer? No ass kissing needed, just a sincere acknowledgement of the situation. I know things are slow right now, delivery wise, with everything going on. I'm an understanding person. As a seller, you should be equally understanding with the fact that there are a lot of scams going on with other sellers. It's happened to me twice. Obviously they don't know that, but when I'm told I can ask for a refund and their are no tracking updates after the original shipping, I ask for one. Respectfully. I expect some level of respect in return, and if I get it, I will most likely return as customer. I mean, I am not looking for discounts or free items, just some understanding and maybe a tad bit of concern. Maybe they just have a lot going on. All that aside, I would definitely consider ordering from them in the future. If they would sell something to me after this review, that is.

Beautiful but is just a regular planchette and I ordered a Celtic knot one . I would give five stars for the product quality but wrong product .

Got this for my teenage daughter. It is very cool looking. Looks old and a bit spooky. Surprised how light it is.
