I got these slippers as a Father's Day gift for my dad. He was in the Air Force for over 33 years, and sustained severe injuries from a plane crash around 25 years ago. His feet, back, and legs were crushed and his feet were the most difficult to put back together. He can walk, but walking long distances or even just being on his feet all day makes walking on a hard floor at home very painful for him. I was hoping a good house shoe would help him feel more comfortable throughout the day. He is a size 10.5, but these only come in whole sizes. I opted for an 11, since the front and sides can be adjusted. He put these on as soon as he opened up his gifts, and said he is very comfortable in them. He likes the multiple flaps that allow for the shoes to be adjusted depending on how swollen his feet are. The memory foam bottom helps cushion his oddly-shaped feet, and doesn't put pressure on any one spot. As a family, we're all so happy he has found some relief with these as house shoes. We'll probably be buying a couple more pairs so he's never too far from putting them on.Side note: he loves the dark blue color as a nod to the USAF!

Bought this for dad because he had severe edema And wanted something that was easy to put on and get off. The shoes flay wide open and are very easy to get on without hurting him. The Velcro close allows you to fit them perfectly, So no matter how big or skinny his felet are that day they fit, Just right - not too tight and not flopping around. The skid resistant bottom is helpful. And they’re super easy to clean. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought these for my dad as he has been retaining fluid on and off and it was so hard for him to put shoes on. These can be readjusted for however your feet are that day. I wasn't sure if he would like them because he is set in his ways and not used to having a quality slipper. These have worked great for taking him to the doctor right now, as he is really sick. They have a nice sole to them that can be worn outside. Also he said they help keep his feet warmer, they were always freezing. Hope this helps

These seemed like a good idea for someone with edema. The sizing is weird. One size is 9-10, which was too big. The size lower was to small. Also they fit awkwardly, It was like they were not shaped for a foot to go into. It was more like a box with padding.

The slipper seem to be well made and the design should have been ideal for my husband's foot issues. However, he has very wide feet to start with and they are quite swollen. He also has one foot that is wrapped. The slipper did not cover the top of the foot. There seemed no point in ordering a different size since the problem was the width rather than the length.

I bought them one size to big as my husbands feet swell. They work just the way I hoped and are a blessing to us

I bought my first pair of these about nine months ago and just bought my second pair. The first pair is fine, but I am so dependent on these that I couldn't afford to be without them in case one were damaged. I have medium to severe edema that extends from my ankles and calves into my feet and the flexible nature of construction is perfect for dealing with this variability. They have a robust sole and may be worn outdoors in good weather.

My father is almost 102 years young and suffers with swelling of his feet and ankles. These are easy to get off/on and are lightweight and comfortable. Bottom is sturdy to wear outside as well. Lifesavers when you have hard to fit feet!
