RSVP International Endurance Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls, 12 Quart

An excellent , VERY DEEP , THICK and STURDY pan for mixing or other purposes. I was concened that it would be a cheap, easily dented or easily scratched piece, but it turned out to be well worth the extra cost. It came well oackaged, with a nice flat bottom for stability, and a sunstantial depth that prevents most splashing & spilling-- with a rounded rim that eases lifting of the pan when it’s full. Someone put some work and thought into designing what I consider to be an excellent mixing pan (althought the word pan --or bowl-- is a bit midleasding, since the sides are steep and deep , shaped like a half-U rather than C-on-its-side shape that’s flater and wider. . It’s large, but does nor feel huge, because the more compact half U shaped steep sides means that it’s higher, deeper and less wide, and therefore takes up less counter or cabiner space than most bowls of this large capacity. I am certainly no expert as to whether it is truly stainless steel ( a paper tag indicates it is), but it IS heavy-weight and substantial, unlike what aluminum would be, and it looks to be scratch resisitant both insie and out.The bottom is etched with the words 12 Qt, Endurance, 18/8, whatever that means. You will not be disappointed with this mixing bowl in terms of it being a quality, and well-made product. I love it!.

Every time I use this sturdy, handsome stainless steel bowl, I think, "Endurance, how did I live without you?" Its generous size and flat bottom makes ease of washing sandy greens like kale and chard and bulky vegetables like zuchinni. It's perfect for soaking scrubbers and dish rags; makes a great dishpan when I need one. It's so helpful, in so many ways, I just love having it in my kitchen every day.

That is 19 pounds of pork chops in that bowl. Still plenty of room left. These bowls are nice and deep. Plenty sturdy for home use. Unless your playing football with these they should last a very long time. Shiny on the outside and dull on the inside. I bought 2 of these bowls and am already using them a lot. The biggest problem was finding a place to store them as they are fairly big. 14 inches across and 7 inches deep.

I specifically bought this to replace a large hand thrown bowl that I had made for my pups water bowl. Lost in a flood/Servpro incident. :( Very happy with this stainless steel bowl, it works perfectly for the pups and they don't knock it over due to the flat stable bottom. We have a 150lb great pyre/Samoyed mix who used to slop water everywhere when he drank. The high sides have kept this from happening. So much easier to fill than the large 5 gallon water feeders, getting too old to try and pick those up. My 45lb Samoyed kept chewing the large plastic dog bowls so I came back and bought a second stainless steel bowl. Couldn't be happier. Very well made, solid, highly recommend. One day I'll get a set for mixing bowls.

Perfect size. Perfect weight. Perfectly stable on the counter in use thanks to the wide base. None better!

I thought maybe I overdid it on the size but I think this will work perfectly for making my homemade sour kraut and other fermented foods. There is always a lot of bulk when I begin with the 5 shredded cabbages called for in the recipe. It arrived absolutely surrounded by air bags in the box so it is in pristine condition. Heavy duty stainless steel through out. This brand has been around for a long time as my smaller bowls are hand me downs and still in great condition with no dents. Nice and deep.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE the deep & sturdy bowl, BUT WHY would they put a practically cemented label on the bottom of the INSIDE of the bowl?? To help you with removing the paper and residue, I’ve included a video and photos. STILL - this would be an unnecessary task if the manufacturers would put the label on the underside bottom of the bowl rather than the inside of the bowl, thus a four star rating.

Perfect size for those larger batches. The flat bottom is great for cutting in butter. It’s a larger size so it’s great for batches that require more room for you to get your hands or utensils in without crowding. Every kitchen should have one of these.

Good quality. Smooth rim. Sturdy. Just what I was looking for! Nice big size. Good purchase.
