I bought 5 of these. I had my gutter guy installed these for me for $150. My installer used his own screws and used 3 screws per gutter guard. When purchased, it only came with 1 screw per gutter guard and they were a little short. I tried to do myself and was difficult.I just had my crawlspace rodent proofed and my gutters replaced. I will get my attic rodent proofed next.I wanted to prevent birds from making nest inside my gutters or rodents using my gutters as ladders to make it up on my roof to get to my attic. I might add cut-to-size galvanize mesh inside, in front of the guard to ensure rodents can’t chew their way in.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Thought this gutter guard would be a good idea to keep chipmunks out of gutters. Great idea, poorly executed. Does not easily fit the end of the downspout without bending the edges in. The screw that is supposed to hold the guard to the down spot is pretty much useless. Way over priced at the $12.99 I paid. I see today it is $8.99 and think that is too much for this item. The bar code sticker left terrible residue on the top. There are better options.

Realized squirrels were somehow climbing up 3 flights in our down spouts into the attic. Our neighbors put mesh inside but we wanted a cleaner method so looked for a product like these. When searching online we kept seeing the same photo for this product albeit under different branding depending where it was sold.It was rated relatively low here due to fit issues where people said it's too small and had to go inside the spouts rather than over them. I have standard 2x3 down spouts and fits over them perfectly. All I can assume is the other reviewers had a larger (3x4) down spout or something else going on.My only complaints are that downspouts are always stark white, however this product is an off white or light gray so sticks out, versus if it were all white. One of our down spouts is portrait vs landscape and while this fits that fine, the bright silver shows very obviously. So wish they had two screw holes one on the side (where it is) and one on the bottom, so it would work better with down spouts positioned in either way. But overall seems to be the best product for this. Also why not apparent from the pictures once screwed on you can still open the ends to let leaves out which is a nice touch, but its secure so can't imagine a squirrel being able to open it.

These are one of the best purchases I made this year for my outdoor maintenance issues. They’re easy to put on and boy do they work to keep the chipmunks out of my downspouts. They’re sturdy and perform wonderfully! Highly recommend these end caps with grates for your drainpipe ends!

I don't suppose there is much wrong with this product. But, I can't imagine who has gutters this small. I read a couple of the reviews and purchased anyway hopeful that I could insert on the inside. But, unfortunately I could not utilize them at all.

This fit perfectly in my flexible gutter drain pipe extension. Chipmunks love to crawl up the pipe making my dogs go nuts and they tear up my drain pipes. This stops the critters and the end snaps off to clean out debris. I drilled a second hole so this cover could be better secured, one screw might work for some people but again, I have dogs and critters. Otherwise, you slip this in the end of your drain pipe and install the screw. Make sure to measure your drain pipe end.Make sure you can access the tabs to release the end for cleaning! I had to reposition and reinstall the first one.

I had to return this and get the 2x3sizd at local "home department" store foe an even more outrageous price x4 downspouts. I got these like many others to prevent the possibility of critters entering and going up the gutters and eventually finding their way inside the roof. It does the job but creates another problem.Any leaf or those spinny things with clog this in a heartbeat and youll have water back flowing up thedownspout next time it rains filling up. The "occasional cleaning" turns into needing to check it everyday for a single rouge leaf and once fall comes around you're in for a special kind of frustration. Its hard to gauge whether or not there's something in the grille and the constant removing and reinstalling the clips will break them over time especially as it brittles sitting in the sun heat and cold daily.I wanted to love it but it ended up being more or a chore than i wanted. At least it looks better than window netting ziptied to the downspouts which i originally had lol. Take these matters into consideration to see if its worth it for you.
