CleanerVinyl EasyOne: Ultrasonic Cleaner Attachment for Vinyl Record Cleaning - Easy to Use and Expandable

I have been interested in trying this method for some time. I wasn't ready to invest in one of the $3500 machines and figured that this would be a great way to see if ultrasonic cleaning is the revelation that the audio reviews claim it to be. I have 3-4 thousand LP's and use a VPI 16.5 and multiple cleaning fluids (original Tourumat, Mobile Fidelity enzyme, RRL).The good news: ultrasonic is the real deal! Surface noise is often reduced, but the main effect is to make every record sound better. Instrument separation is improved dramatically and imaging borders on the psychedelic (YMMV; I have MBL speakers).The bad news: now I feel compelled to clean my whole collection.The CleanerVinyl One in conjunction with the recommended ultrasonic tank is easy to use. Construction quality on the CleanerVinyl is excellent (it is solid, not flimsy at all). I purchased the CleanerVinyl Two from the company website which allows one to clean two Lp's simultaneously; this is a no-brainer in terms of efficiency. I wish there was an upgrade trade in program for people to move up to the Pro or Max; being able to clean 12 or 24 Lp's at a time now makes sense.I use the VPI to vacuum up the residual fluid so I did not need the dryer.Highly recommended!

It doesn’t firmly attach to the recommended tank but that may be their design. I would expect it to be better made for the price. It Does clean records unbelievably well.

I've been collecting records since 1955. My favorite piano player is Bill Evans. I bought a new LP about 1960 with Bill Evans and Jim Hall called Undercurrent. It had terrible surface noise.I really liked the music but that surface noise was awful. I tried many times to get rid of that noise. I'm very careful with my records and have used a Nitty Gritty vacuummachine since they came out. Even that didn't help The CleanerVinyl Easy one is the answer. after all these years that record is absolutely SILENT. It's just like new,but dead quiet. I got the EasyTwo adapter which allows you to clean 2 12"LP's and a 45 single. It takes about 10 minutes to clean 2 reecords and even 50 year old records are like new. Definitely Recommended.

This really is a great product and works flawlessly. It is really a simple device made of sturdy plastic with a motor inside and is easy to use with an ultrasonic cleaner.I have a large collection of used vinyl largely from the 60s and 70s. Most of these records were not stored very carefully and tend to be extremely dirty. I can hear a distinct difference after using an ultrasonic cleaner.However my experience is that using any ultrasonic cleaner is only one part of a cleaning workflow you need to follow to get old dirty records to sound their best. Having said that this product is highly recommended.ProsWorks as advertised and has given me no trouble so far (200+ records)Simple to use and storeWhen paired with a cheap ultrasonic cleaner Most cost effective way of replicating extremely expensive "Pro" Vinyl Ultrasonic cleaners which can cost over 2000 Dollars.ConEven though its much cheaper than ready to use ultrasonic vinyl cleaners its still quite expensive for what it is. The quality seems really solid though so at least you get what you pay for.

This is the coolest thing for vinyl collectors! In the vinyl world if you want something effective to clean your records, you could spend $1500, or even $4000 on the same cleaning technology and process. This was about $375, for the sonicator, record holder, and the surfactant. I got this all running, and cleaned about 150 records over a few nights time, 2-3 hrs per night. Nothing to it. Just works amazingly well. This record holder never slowed down, never got hot, or anything. It’s a great design, with limited potential breakage it appears (limited moving parts.) My discs have never been cleaner. They sound amazing!!

Overall very satisfied. I bought the extender so am able to clean two records at once. Particularly effective when used in combo with a scrub, vacuum and a final rinse stage. Reduces a significant amount of surface noise and boosts the clarity of the music. Doesn't fix everything but has made a huge difference on the vinyl tested so far. Happy customer!
