Wonderful practice book . Lots of exercises to do and a wealth of information for the beginner . Highly recommend

I am no artist. I have no measurable talent for drawing. Through this book, I have learned that drawing is not just for "artists," but can be enjoyed by everyone. I came to drawing late in life, through this book. The author give the non-artist the tools to draw landscape elements, and variations to begin finding your own style.

When I display this book on Kindle in my computer, the whole image is rotated 90 degrees and I can't read it. An unacceptable mistake. please fix this.

Shows a lot and makes it easy for you to create your own.

I love every book in this series.

This is for lovers of landscapes. There's many tidbits of information that can make a huge difference in the final one. You'll go from shading mountains to show natural depressions to creation of natural items that could flesh out a mountain scene like lakes, tree stumps, grasses, reflections, and a solitary cabin. It'll take lots of practical and study to come up with a finished product as good as his. Learn the principals of shading and perspectives, and use your own style proclivities. I think he's an excellent teacher and enjoy all the books.

If you want your art to look bad get this book. If you learn this guy's technique your art will look like a dark indistinguishable smudge. Like to show lots of detail without contrast. Since a pen and ink artist does not have color the only way to make your art recognizable it to use contrast. Something that this guy has no concept of. Look inside this book and look at his art and see if I'm wrong.

I expected a lot more. Poorly created and this was more of a pamphlet. This information would have filled about 5 pages of a normal book. Too expensive even at this price.

Too narrow in scope of techniques and practice exercises. Buy 'The Pen and Ink Drawing Workbook' instead.

Easy to follow. Worth getting all 6 bol.

Nice practical exercises to develop the basics of ink drawing. Get the paper edition, not the kindle one, as the book is designed to be drawn in.

Have the full set of these books , very informative , easy to follow , my drawing has improved loads after doing , and following the exercises in these books , exactly what i was looking for , would highly recomend for those wanting to get into landscape drawing in pen and ink
