I have seen reviews for this unit on Youtube, and it seems that it looked so different on every person. But the way it looked in one video made me want to purchase it for myself in a color 1B. Now a lot of people were able to wear this as a full wig, but once I got it and put it on my head, that was not the case. I was so upset! It just did not look right on me, so I put it away and continued wearing my Drew by Beshe. But then I came back to it to see if this was a total lost cause, and it wasn't! It does look similar to some of the wigs I saw on youtube, but I've just come to realize that there are different tweaks with different units. I love how it looks on me, but I wear it as a half wig (what it was created for, lol), because putting it to the front of my hair line makes me look crazy. But I really like it, get major compliments on it, and will order a new one soon, maybe in a different color.

This wig is by far the best synthetic naturally curly/kinky textured wig I have ever purchased. It matches really well with my personal hair texture. I mainly twist hair in the front and untwist in the morning just to give it a more natural look when the wind blows. My only wish is if they had a 2/burgundy color mix! That would just give me life! (lol) And the price is a steal! As a college student on a natural hair journey this really doesn't harm my wallet. The prices also seem to be slowly declining as it was $30 about a year ago and is now $19.This is a great unit for those naturals who have just big chopped or int that awkward stage like me. Yes I am completely in love and get compliments on a daily basis and people ask me all the time what I use on my hair!Thank you so much for this wig!

Absolutely love the naturalness of this wig and for a synthetic half wig of this caliber, it's the best, and closest, you'll ever get to a natural looking 3c-4c (combed out) hair style. It has a lot of volume, extremely dense and because of it's length, if it's too long for you, it can be adjusted with a simple at home cut or by taking it to a professional to have it trimmed to size. This is one of the more versicle synthetic wigs that you'll ever see on the market and for such a cheap price and it's definitely well worth the money.It gets better over time and even when I actually fell asleep in it, the soft curls popped back up to life with a simple finger puff of the tips. It's extremely LOW maintenance, unless you're accident prone or a pyromaniac, and if you think you mess up by cutting off too much, you can easily braid up your hair and put the wig on sideways for a side-puff, just trim it to how you like.You honestly can't go wrong with this wig, unless you're limited by your imagination.Overall, I recommend this product, not only to natural kinky-coily people but to those willing to get a bit eccentric for the Summer as well.

Looks so natural after washing and combing it out. I've had this wig for two months, wear it everyday and it looks good after washing it. This is my low maintenance protective style. I have a leave out around the perimeter and I put the hair in a high bun. There are some great tutorials on YouTube. My hair is 4c and it blends well with it after I moisturize, gel and braid the perimeter for at least an hour. I'm going to buy a second one as a back up. the down side is that this wig is super itchy, even if i wear a beanie as a wig cap for extra barrier. Delivery was prompt, item delivered was as described. Highly recommend.

Maybe my expectations were a bit high. After reading RAVE reviews and watching a ton of YouTube videos on this "diva" I was dying to get my hands on one. Out of the package and playing around with it, I think I enjoyed it all of 30 minutes. I just could not get the nerve to wear it out because it just wasn't quite "right"...I pull it out every so often and try it on and play with it, but I am just not feeling it. Many have said you have to LOVE big hair to love LaJay. Guess big hair isn't my thing...cute on everyone else, I guess I'm just more conservative?... I may have her professionally styled or cut to suit my head/face...otherwise "she" will be resting in the bottom drawer indefinitely.

I fell in looooove with this wig! I am a natural hair gal and I wanted a wig I could wear that looked like my own hair while still looking real. Now, I did have to cut it down to shape my face, and when it first got here it looked as though some parts had been combed through already (that was the only thing I didnt like) but after I cut and shaped it, it was so beautiful I didnt even notice! I cant wait to wear my wig out for the first time!!! From now on I will be buying LaJay's!!!!

I was looking for something that I could blend with my own hair while taking myself through transition from chemicals. Since I can't wear it twisted or braided all of the time, I decided to go with this wig. The reviews are not wrong - this is BIG Texas hair. But, I like the fact that it is soft, you can cut it to suit your style and, with just a little effort, you can blend your edges with the wig for a flawless seam. I take about 1 inch of hair around the circumference of my head, secure the wig and then finger comb around the edges until my hair is incorporated. Since my hair still has some highlights visible, it looks like I have subtle streaking through the front. Even my son was fooled when he saw me. I'm ordering another one for safe keeping. I love it.

I have always liked the La Jay Wig, just not this listing. So gross and non-hygienic. They sent this wig without putting it into an envelope/package. It didn’t arrive on time, and was dirty. The hair was exposed. Just nasty. I paid to return returning.
