**UPDATE**It's been about 3 months since my original purchase-- I've fed my kitty about 1 tsp every day since and I am JUST starting to run out and re-order a new bag! He has not had ANY bloating issues to this day since giving him this pumpkin powder, nor has he coughed up any hairballs!!! This is the most incredible fiber supplement EVER, I am so happy I found this company-- thank you Raw Paws for keeping my kitty bloating and hairball-cough-attack free!Original review :YEEEES THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! It smelled so good opening the bag, I almost even wanted to eat it! (Which I think you even can since it's just 100% pure pumpkin powder!). My cat also has a ton of allergies so an extra bonus is that this is literally just ONE ingredient. I have a one yr old male Siamese/DSH who *USED (key word: past tense) to get bloated A LOT. He also does that dry-heaving thing to cough up hairballs, but I never see any-- probably because he ends up swallowing them instead, hence the bloating. I gave him "Lax-aire" which is supposed to be a laxative flavored gel you give maybe a couple times a week.. But it made it seem like you just "wait" for them to get hairballs and then give them the laxative. Although it's supposed to "prevent" constipation in the future, it seemed to only work acutely. As much as I wanted to give a little to him every day, you are not supposed to because it's way too strong and too much could actually make your pet even more bloated (says my vet, and from personal experience). So I found this as a constant source of fiber for him.He is now pooping consistently, has not had a bloating episode since feeding him this, AND like a proud cat mama I am-- his poops are actually healthily longer and less pellet-like. (Sorry for the TMI- but you pet owners can understand this!)He's 12 lbs so I give him 1 tsp every morning, or 1/2 tsp in the AM and 1/2 in the PM. Mixed into wet or dry food- he eats it both ways. Although I like mixing it into his wet food because it's less messy. I also sometimes add a little bit of warm water since the dry powder tends to take up the moisture in his food a bit.

I don't usually take the time to review, but this product worked really well and cat owners should know! My cat has a sensitive digestive system that probiotics usually helps. A recent abscess put her on five days of an antibiotic which caused her major gastrointestinal upset and diarrhea, that was not responding to her probiotics. I tried canned pumpkin first which helped with the diarrhea but since she did not like the taste or texture in her food I could only use sparingly. That does not work well either since canned pumpkin spoils quickly. And it's messy to use. My online search for a fix found Raw Paws powdered pumpkin. Success! This product worked very quickly. Her diarrhea improved after the first day. I started with a rounded teaspoon mixed into her canned cat food then reduced it to a half teaspoon as she got better and better. It is easy to use, my cat readily eats it without a problem (a miracle in itself), and it has a long shelf life. I am always going to keep this product on hand as the go to feline digestion relief. I have a second cat too, no digestion issues, but he has also been getting the pumpkin in his food with no problem. I think the extra fiber in their diets has stopped their grass eating habit! Highly recommend!

This is a really good product. I use it for my birds and cats and would recommend it as a mix into pets regular food.However, check the date when it arrives. I received my monthly order on 3/20/23 and after I had opened it I noticed the use by date of 5/31/22, almost a full year out of date. I'm going to go by the FDA suggestion that this is only a suggestion for best freshness. It smells fine and taste alright so I'm going to try it and if anyone gets sick it is going in the garbage. The bad part is that since in is considered a grocery item it is not returnable but the worse part is I can't even get it replaced by Amazon and when you try to find away to contact them on the issue you get the runaround on the site and in the app. Since I paid them for it I would like it replaced since it is their fault for not watching out for outdated product and sending it to people with no options to get their money back or a replacement that is in date.Amazon is bad when it comes to back products they sell and deliver on many items are. I've had this happen before!

I wish that I had the wherewithal to take a photo of this before I started using it - sorry folks! This product is great, my dog really does enjoy it and seems like he’s having an easier time going to the bathroom.My only qualm is that my bag came about 1/3 full. The photo on here shows a super full bag and that just wasn’t the case for me.I’ve bought other products from this company and they are GREAT, it’s just the small amount that I received that disappointed me

Helps my cats bowls. They like it better when mixed with water. Solid product that you will just have to try to see if your animal likes it!

This is a great product for our cat! I mix a half teaspoon of pumpkin powder with a little bit of water and add a small amount of dry cat food to it to coat it and then put it on top of the cat’s food. He loves it! When I am preparing it for him daily, he gets a little impatient with me each morning until I give him his food. Giving him the pumpkin powder daily helps with his digestion issues.
