BHL Glass Lemon Squeezer

I don’t like to purchase kitchen equipment (especially glass, mugs, dishes, steel, or iron) from China. There are numerous answers that state that the BHL Lemon squeezer is made in England or France. This is not so (see picture). It looks functional for lemons and other small fruit, but I am disappointed with the product. I paid for shipping from England, so I feel cheated.

I wanted a simple juicer to replace the hand squeeze juicer I have (the type that has two arms sticking out that you squeeze together to extract the juice). That hand squeezer tended to squirt bits of juice all over and I wanted to avoid that. This solves that problem. Totally straightforward simple juicer. Works fine on lemons and limes and small oranges. I like that the center is a little pointy because it gets into the fruit better. Only downsides: the little nubs that are supposed to catch seeds only catch about 90% and the little place to pour the juice from tends to drip a bit. But those aren't big downsides. If I were to break this one (which seems unlikely because it is pretty darn sturdy), I would buy the same one again.

I've used something very similar to this for almost 20 years and I decided to replace it. This is a beautiful piece and I should have ordered this long time ago. I noticed someone mentioned this was too small, and that was the reason I hesitated to order. This is not too small to squeeze one or two lemon. It will probably be to small to squeeze several lemons.

I love this lemon squeezer it is small and does the job, I read some bad reviews about it, in my opinion some people expect too much of this little thing but look a it as a helper, do not push the lemon down from the start like you will with a electric juicer, squeeze your lemon yourself using the tip of the your squeezer and move slowly down you will see how easy it is, I hope this helps future buyers.

This squeezer is disappointing for 2 reasons:1. It's small and works best for small lemons and limes. Even a larger lemon does not get thoroughly juiced.2. It does not catch the seeds. The extra step of removing them from the juicer or your drink is very annoying. This item was clearly not tested.

The glass is thick the construction seems very high quality. The problem, the grinder is on the small side and looks like it would work better for limes. It will still work for lemons but the problem is with the rim, the seeds do not catch in it and simply fall into the lemon juice. All in all, it works but if you plan to use this for lemons on a frequent basis you will probably want to get a bit larger one.

Great lemon squeezer but we mistakenly bought it to juice oranges. It might be too small unless the juice oranges are on the small side. Temples might work.

Ordered 4 one came broken. Two have since broken. Also resevoire not large enough to hold half a lemon, seeds slip through. Don't recommend.

This is good for sqeezing lemons & oranges. It is glass & not plastic which I like.
