The official DSA theory test for motorcyclists

Great revision guide
If you are not new to the road but looking for a revision guide then this book will be a great help. Some areas of the book give a great deal of explanation while others are somewhat lacking. Although the text accompanying each question attempts to explain the answers, I found a few times that it didn't fully answer why the correct answer was what it was.Overall it must be fairly good though with just a weeks reading up to the answers section and previous car driving experience and never having to pass a previous theory test before, I manged to get just 1 answer wrong in the multi choice section of the real test.If you couple this book along with the Focus Motorcycle Theory/Hazard perception DVD ROM they make a good testing platform together.

If you are thinking of taking your motorcycle theory then this 'IS' the book to have - BUY IT :-)
If you are thinking of taking your motorcycle theory then this IS the book to have - BUY IT. It has 400+ pages of simply explained information. Each section tells you what you need to know for the test, and then you have a load of Q&A's at the end of each section to ensure you've grasp it. In addition to this book I also bought the road signs book - not necessary, but very useful for the exam. I passed the exam easily thanks to this book. It delivers the key points of the highway code relevant to motorcyclists in a much better way than just trying to digest a highway code book and in the same format as the theory test.

Best book for passing motorbike theory!
I bought this just 2 weeks before my motorcycle theory test, as suggested by an instructor, and it literally had all the questions in the question and answer section at the back! I only got 1 question wrong at my theory test. I'd suggest reading all the pages thoroughly once, then smash out as many questions in the back everyday leading up to your test, as seriously about 90% of the questions I remembered from the book. I planned on selling mine after I passed, but after knowing how good it is, I'm keeping it!

Covered all areas but room for improvement
Bought this for my kindle great book and ultimately I passed my test but the pictures for some of the questions can't be enlarged to view so you're guessing most of the time plus there was one section in the book when seeking the answers that meant you were searching 4 pages across of answers to find the answer, all in all however very thorough and worth it.

took the theory test and passed 50/50 I won't lie I'm not the ultra brightest of people and I find things stick in my head bette
I Took 3 weeks to read and digest the information in this book prior to my test date, took the theory test and passed 50/50I won't lie I'm not the ultra brightest of people and I find things stick in my head better if I read things rather that doing one of those mock cd rom things,Like I said, this worked well for me as it has EVERY question in the current driving assessment, just read it, remember it, learn from it and smash your theory test 😃

Worth it
I would have failed my test if I didn't buy this beforehand.I've been driving 10 years but there is a lot of stuff that you simply forget like some of the obscure road signs or whatever. So I gave this a good read through as a refresher. To be honest, if you know how to use a road then motorcycle theory is basically common sense.Definitely worth a look.

Not to everyone's taste
It is full of information and useful practice questions. However, it can be convoluted and patronising in parts. For some, reading the Highway Code would be more appropriate, for others there are links to videos online, practice questions have explanations for the answer, and generally a good approach for most learning styles... Just not mine, I think. Only the theory test will be the judge of that!

Bought it with the intention of taking my theory test last year
Unfortunately I can't comment, bought it with the intention of taking my theory test last year, but been too busy & not been critical to have a pillion onboard. However on flicking through, looks much better laid out than the older copy inherited
