After a bad injury my daughter decided to give goalkeeping a try. Having played the position all my life I went ahead and looked for quality gloves without breaking the bank (since she might not want to stick with it... the position is not for everyone). I was impressed with the quality and the craftsmanship of the gloves and she's been using them for 3 months on grass surfaces and they are holding up very well. Size-wise a 7 in this brand could be compared to about size 8s in Reusch and Select brands.

UPDATE...shortly after I posted the below review, I was contacted by kixsports and CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH for their concern and resolution! They really went above and beyond...after a phone call with my daughter to discuss their gloves and fit, they replaced them and she's really happy with the new ones!!A great testament to turning a bad situation COMPLETELY around...well done Kixsports, we'll definitely reorder once these gloves wear out (as alllll gloves do) Much appreciated!I was really optimistic about the gloves we purchased for my daughter, affordable and all the reviews were very positive...she had wanted the pro gloves but they were not in stock, so she went with the Club version...we figured they were affordable enough and once the pro version became available we'd get those and use these for practice gloves...then we saw all the perks they were advertising for being part of their Amazon review group and deep >50% discount on the same gloves, so we signed up...got a few confirmation emails and then nothing, no codes for discount, and and 2 emails sent to [email protected] inquiring how to redeem the discounts went unanswered...so I paid full price anyway (they were adequate for what we needed) and thy arrived fairly quickly...unfortunately our hopes were dashed, the size was off, the fingers were too wide, wrists too tight and the cushioning was not as good as she had hoped. Not a good fit at all. She's played soccer for 9 years and could not use them. We returned them, bummed that they didn't work out. Plus I'd like to know who to contact to get the $10 back that it cost me to ship back to you...haven't had to pay to return something in many years...not cool

Nice goalie gloves. Seem to be a bit more durable than most goalie gloves. The foam on the palm side seems to be holding up better. Most goalie gloves get torn up quickly because the foam is so lightweight. I continue to think that goalie gloves would last much, much longer if the manufacturers would add a durable layer to the palm side of the glove. Material similar to that used in receiver football gloves would be great - thin, sticky, cleanable, and relatively durable. These specific gloves are probably the best quality goalie gloves we have tried. Reasonably priced too.

I was a keeper and am a long-time coach. I love these gloves so far. and the price is amazing. I coach high school soccer and the boys also really like them. the assistant coach played keeper in college and he really likes the build of them as well. I've purchased Select gloves for 3x the price and each pair have come apart (and a finger inside the glove too) - beware! better than the name brand junk stocked at Dick's too! I would get these KixGK gloves again! they are holding up 2-weeks into HS practices.

I rarely write reviews (hey - sorry!), but I liked my KixGK Club Goalkeeper Gloves enough to write one. I waited until a full season of adult rec soccer to do so.First of all, they are a very good value - they are not a cheap quality product that wastes away after a game or two. I was very impressed with how "beefy" they were upon opening up the Amazon box, and they are still very much intact after one full season in the goal.And I just play (surprisingly competitive) adult rec league soccer, not Wold Cup soccer, so I didn't need to pay more for "professional" level goalkeeper gloves - these "Club" goalkeeper gloves were perfect for me (perfect price/performance balance).I'd recommend KixGK Club Goalkeeper Gloves for others to buy (and I'd buy them again myself, but since they seem pretty durable, hopefully I won't be doing that soon!).Notes:I didn't know what size to buy since I bought my gloves from Amazon (i.e., vs. brick and mortar) and so I looked up the size chart at Kixsports.com and went with their suggestion and have been happy with that.This is irrelevant, but I am "old school" and only wear Adidas Copa Mundial soccer cleats. So, it turns out, my KixGK Club Goalkeeper Gloves and my Adidas Copa Mundials match (they are both black and white!).

I am a men's league keeper. I have been playing multiple times a week for a number of years, both indoor and outdoor. I have used many brands of gloves including some of the top name brands and other less expensive options, and these are by far my favorites. Of all the gloves I have worn, these have been the longest lasting and have the most consistent and comfortable feel with great grip on the ball for catching and throwing. I just bought a pair for my 10 year old son who is just getting into playing keeper. I chose these gloves because of the durability and thickness. I know he will feel more confident wearing gloves with a total 7mm thickness to combat the sting of a hard shot.I really love these gloves and have recommended them to other keepers and parents whenever I have had the chance. I have even recommended a couple local soccer stores look into stocking these regularly because of the high quality and unbeatable price. Thanks Kix!

These gloves are worth more than they charge! Maybe I shouldn't say that or they will raise prices!! ;-)My 9-year old daughter plays on 4 different club and all-star teams so we thought it was time to invest in a good pair of goalie gloves. They fit perfectly, are extremely well made, cushion the fingers properly yet give good grip. Great for kids who are on a competitive track.
