This plant based deep conditioner hair mask is my new hair mask favorite!I constantly put my hair through so much damage in coloring and using heat appliances. I do use hair conditioner each time I shampoo, and then follow with some kind of product added to my hair after stepping out of the shower. Could be mousse, a leave in spray conditioner, or a hair strengthener. After using this Sienna Naturals damage repair hair mask, I decided not to also use a product on my hair after and just let it air dry so I could see how it performed. I am so HAPPY with this! It has left my hair feeling much smoother and not as frizzy looking. AND - I love that it comes in a jar that makes getting the product out so much easier! There is 9 oz. of the hair mask in the jar. I should mention that it does not come sealed, nor in a box. But it did arrive fine without the lid coming open or any damage to the jar itself. It does have a plastic lid cover the hair mask in the jar as well.This comes with all clean ingredients and is dermatologist tested.I plan on using this once a week to keep my hair conditioned better. Highly recommended!

This Sienna Naturals Plant Power Hair Mask has been great for my dry, damaged hair. This is a nice thick mask with a light botanical scent that I love. I have thick, long hair, so I use quite a lot of this product each time but I’m happy to say I haven’t really put a dent in the quantity so this is going to last longer than I anticipated. I absolutely love that this is vegan, cruelty free and made in the USA. The directions tell you to get the product on for 5-10 minutes with a shower cap on and then rinse out with cool water using a comb to brush it through. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I am not in the shower long enough to take care of this in the shower so it adds another step to my routine but I’m willing to do this once a week, as needed. The results were really great and my hair was way less frizzy and I didn’t need any styling products after using this mask.

I let it sit on my hair while I took the rest of my shower and that was probably the five minutes they recommend.But I think rinsing with cool water may be key to making it work well. It says that in the instructions and I thought -- I always rinse conditioner with warm/hot water. So I decided to do as they said and it really seemed to make it silky. Who knows what difference that makes, but I will probably stick with that.My scalp is extremely sensitive and this did not bother it at all. I love all the natural ingredients.So after drying my hair, it still feels well conditioned - no frizz, for sure. It feels hydrated and soft.Since you won't use this every wash, it is really economical. Very effective.

I love that this product is made with clean vegan ingredients, because it's something that I can feel good about using on my hair. It smells great, and comes in a pretty big container. Since you're only supposed to use it sporadically I think this will last me a bit.I am someone who uses heat products on my hair daily, and also highlights every other month. Deep conditioning is a step that I do to make sure my hair remains healthy and soft. This deep conditioner smell really nice, and is easy to apply to hair. I have shorter hair so it doesn't take a lot of product to thoroughly coat my hair. I typically apply it at the beginning of my shower and comb it though so that I can let it set for 10 minutes. I rinse with cool water just like the instructions advise and my hair is so soft and smooth afterwards. I feel like it really helps restore hair to its original state, and makes the heat I constantly use a little more bearable for my hair.

I have color-treated hair that deals with a lot of heat styling, and this mask made it feel refreshed and healthy again. The texture is rich enough to coat the strands easily, but not so heavy that it weighs my hair down. I followed the directions—left it on for 10 minutes and rinsed with cool water—and the results were great. My hair was shiny, manageable, and easy to comb through afterward.I also love that it’s made with clean, vegan ingredients and free of silicones and sulfates. It’s rare to find a mask that’s both effective and conscious of ingredient quality, especially one that works for all hair types, including mine which is a bit on the dry and wavy side. That said, I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent. While it wasn’t overpowering, there was something about it that just didn’t appeal to me personally. It has a sort of herbal note that others might love, but it wasn’t quite my vibe. Fortunately, the smell didn’t linger long after rinsing, so it’s not a total dealbreaker.

Since this conditioner gets mixed reviews, I thought it would be helpful to describe my hair. It's fine, curly tending to frizz, professionally colored for many years (started going gray in my 20s).I have tried so many conditioners and haven't truly loved any of them. So my expectations were tempered. I wasn't expected to be blown away, but this conditioner has done that.I have been using the conditioner with my usual shampoo, and often don't leave it in for the full five minutes because I don't have time/too tired. Doesn't matter. Even a few minutes in my hair works -- well, I hesitate to use the word "miracles" (my hair's not quite there) -- but my hair feels soft and the frizz is zapped.It's also fragrance-free, easy to apply, and easily rinsed out. Vegan and cruelty-free. I think I'm in love.

When I read "mask," I was expecting something that was thick and dry being applied to your hair. This was far from it. It felt like regular shampoo conditioner with a little stiffness after a few minutes if application. It didnt have any visible residue. This also had a nice refreshing scent.
